when i worked morning shift at a McDonald's for a few months, there was this one time for a week solid, this gent came in and ordered like 40 each of four different breakfast sandwiches, he'd call ahead for it and everything and pay after he arrived. it was a surreal experience, i never found out why he was getting the big orders.

In my area, an Egg McMuffin costs $4.39 ($4.70 with tax), and a Sausage and Egg McMuffin usually costs $4.29 ($4.59 with tax). However, my McDonald's has a deal where you can get 2 Sausage and Egg McMuffin's for $4 ($4.28 with tax). So 3,500 Egg McMuffins would be $16,450 with tax and 3,500 Sausage and Egg McMuffins would usually be $16,065 with tax. But with the deal, if all 3,500 got the 2-for-1 deal (7,000 sandwiches), it would be $14,980 with tax.

As a person who works at McDonald’s, we had some person come in our store and orders 200 hamburgers. I wouldn’t mind making a thousand or more, the only problem would be that we would run out of the muffins.
