both in A7 and E7 since you are going right to a minor9, can we use a maj pentatonic with b9 or a major pentatonic with 9, in both cases it sounded good but I am still wondering... you are amazing!

The key is far more A minor than D minor! Am = Root Dm = Subdominat Em = Dominant A7 = Second Dominat, leading to the Subdominant Dm

I tried all twelve notes over every chord. My ear ended up with an Am pentatonic. The Notes C and G are on the line though. G goes up a half tone on E7. C has an augmented sound on E7 and goes up on A7. I think I got that right🤔

Wait! B works over everything! So there’s an Em pentatonic too.
