I really enjoy the videos. Can I use the YN Jelly acrylics (Strawberry, Lemon, Blueberry and Orange) and add a few extra glitters to achieve this same look?
@young nails. Can you please tell me if you’ve change the formula to the ultimate finish and protein bond? I’m just wondering because I have a ultimate from January, and one I got today, and it’s sooooo much thicker. Like super thick. Like fiber gel thick. And my old protein bond is different consistency than the new one I got today too. But neither of the older ones are like super old expired. They are from maybe December? And the bottle says it’s good for 12 months. So I’m just wondering if there were any changed made to the formula? The new ultimate seems to be flaking off unlike the older ones I have stay the whole time no flakes ever.
We have not changed the formula for either of those products. A couple things to keep in mind, temperature can affect your products, so the Ultimate Finish can get thicker in cooler temps. Keeping the product around 70 degrees will keep it at a more consistent viscosity. If it gets cooler at night, it can feel thick until it warms back up, which can take a while. As for the Protein Bond, as you use it and the bottle is open, air can evaporate the solvents in it. By the time you get to the bottom of the bottle, it can feel much thicker than when you first open a new bottle.
If might not have as much dimension with the jelly acrylic by it self, but if you add some of sleep pile and minor rain drops to the jelly acrylic that could give you that back
I hit the thumbs down for two reasons: first, I don’t like your two-tone articulated hand. I find it very distracting when trying to look at a design. At the end ZOOM IN on the design, please; second, your terminology for your products is confusing. Why not just call them speed-set and regular-set? I love the products but have written speed and regular on my lids. I probably would have liked the design but you didn’t show it very long. Who has the money to buy all different colors in the beginning? I’m just learning and they’re not in my budget. I didn’t write this to be offensive. I was curious, and wanted to let you know my concerns.
