This is a game designed around speedrunning. Enemies evaporate at the sight or runners, cool designs are welcome but would be wasted since you wont be enjoying the view
Part of me thinks Neon White with the entire idea of these demonic "knights" fighting for heaven might be a reference to the Neon Knights song in Black Sabbath's "Heaven and Hell" album.
Mirror's Edge but with fps gameplay. If the devs can let people designs custom level then this game can be a hit. Like a 3D Happy wheels. If not this game would probably be forgotten because speed running appeals to a very niche audience
@@twitzers the contrasting colour pallette is very much like Mirror's Edge plus with the jumping aspect. Mirrors edge is more like a role playing game rather than killing enemy type of game.
The core idea looks cool, but without screen shakes, weapon models, the juice here is lacking, I'd like there to be more weight behind the player's actions, you just don't feel powerful when using your cards or weapons
previously we have a guy who is too mad and fight in hell and a robot covered in blood who also fight in hell. now we have neon fight for heaven. interesting
It seems like a lot of love was put into it but it looks like something you’d get bored off after a few hours. This indeed will mostly appeal as a niche to the sort of players that will practice and compete for ages trying to beat mili seconds off each other. Having a side feature of a mini dating sim is nice but also rather pointless. Having conversations and “encounters” with characters that don’t impact the gameplay in anyway other than adding more maps and flavor endings while also not actually (as far as he made it sound) have any actual intimacy implemented seems rather meaningless in a game where the whole point is fast fast shooty.
