Mangalam Pipes, one of the largest largest suppliers of pipes, rolled out an initiative in the month of April 2019, #VoicesofNepal, to create a crowd sourced National Anthem Video.
The idea behind the initiative was simple - to get all Nepalis, irrespective of caste, age, gender, creed and religion - to rally for a cause that is already close to their hearts. And what better way to achieve this than with the national anthem, which is the “third most amazing national anthem” in the world, according to a ranking conducted by BBC.
Aimed at all Nepalis, living in the country as well as abroad, the campaign has struck a chord. The end result was quite satisfactory - the voices of Nepalis poured in from different parts of the country. Over 6000 entries were received on our website www.anthem.mangalamindustries.com
We understand that national rebuilding is a colossal task and achieving the same will take time. #VoicesofNepal was just a platform to show our solidarity for the nation. The overall satisfactory results from the Voices of Nepal campaign has made our will stronger to keep pushing ahead along the path of continuous betterment. Mangalam’s desire to work for Nepal’s progress has only strengthened our resolve of sticking to our ideals, come what may.
