I'm just glad to see you posting again. As to your question, I do not have a dedicated day or time. I tend to watch videos within 24 hours of being notified of their upload onto youtube.
2 videos in 2 weeks! I am so happy i did not cancel my subscription to your channel!!! I already mentioned i'd love to see more videos with MJ. There are 3 types of videos i would also love to see: 1) Comics other RU-vid channels don't cover as much. For example bronze age comics (house of mystery , house of secrets, tomb of Dracula, Werewolf by night ) . 2) non american comics (like the ones you did for the Eternaut ,Moebius or Jodorowski). 3) videos about your thoughts on the industry . You made a couple and i ended up disagreeing with your opinion most of the time (especially what you said about rebirth ). However, i appreciated those videos because you had intelligent things to say about this topic. What i don't want to see is another video about a superhero movie. I love superheroes but there are hundreds of people talking about superhero movies on RU-vid.
On a side note, I am surprised you didn't mention Salammbo by Titan comics because that is right up your alley. If you like Moebius and Métal Hurlant you must get Phillipe Druillet's Salammbo.
Sweet video man. Thanks again for your help with Hickman’s F4 reading order. Any day works for me, I think middle of the week or beginning of the weekend seem like solid times. I think there seem to be a ton of books/stories that aren’t covered or are only covered by one or two channels, so I’d say pick a favorite book, see if it’s been thoroughly discussed on YT, and if not, hop on it!
I highly recommend the Ben Riley omni and the two clone saga ones. They were my first Spider-Man story and though gets cluttered at the end, is great with nineties goodness and now that Reily is back with his own book, a must read
I've read a handful, mostly just like the "essential" ones that get recommend on lists. To be honest it's a bit of a format hangup for me, I just don't like buying and collecting the tiny volumes :( I guess I could read digital but I don't love that. I would read more in they we're in nicer hardcover collections
@@SequentialsDeluxe Thanks for your response! Totally understandable. If your hangup is the lengths of the volumes, might I suggest looking into collected format editions? Not trying to convert or anything just I enjoy showing people series I enjoy haha. A couple examples: 1.If you ever liked samurai, there is a manga known as Vagabond (which on it's own is an utterly amazing series, manga or not) that is collected in a "Vizbig" edition that is softcover but contains three full volumes in one book and is sized similarly to an omnibus for each volume. (It can be found on amazon, there are 12 volumes each nearly the size of a hardcover novel) 2. The "Perfect Edition" books by Naoki Urasawa for his series Monster and 20th Century boys are actually quite long reads per each volume (600 pages per book or so) and very high quality soft covers. The stories are amazing and currently Monster is fully complete while they are slowly releasing the 20th century boys books over time. 3.Or if you do prefer hardcovers, a good starting point would be the Fullmetal Alchemist (another one of the best series of manga of all time) "Fullmetal" editions that are very high quality hardcover volumes with excellent paper quality and are decently sized. Though you could also just watch the FMA Brotherhood anime haha it's fantastic in any form. Keep up the great videos regardless!
I've seen vagabond around for years, just haven't picked it up. I think it's the same viz big that Ruroni Kenshin and Dragon Ball were in. I had those at one point but wold them. I know Urasawa is loved by so many people, I would like to pick up monster at some point but it's not that high on my wish list at the moment. And full metal I have watched FMA Brotherhood and totally love it, one of my favorite anime. Thanks for the recs!
