3:35. There is the Snapfire 8, which is a semi-auto pistol that doesn't need batteries or air, but needs I think heavy lubrication on the trigger, as the pull is heavier than any Springer.
This is the video that inspired me to strap a hyperfire to my forearm. My hands free design involves using metal contacts between thumb and index for the rev switch and tip of index to the heel of my hand to fire.
Have you ever thought about making miniclips for this thing? I believe Drac has a tutorial on how to make them. You seem to like the six-clips for their small profile, but miniclips are literally flush with the blaster's magwell if done properly
There's this one guy at EndWar who had six Swarmfires, three on each shoulder, and another guy who minimized two Mastodons for his wrists. And a Brit who stuck two Rapidstrikes to his arm. I'm sure you could come up with an even more fun and absurd replacement XD
tbh, that is a pretty sick use for a raider. I run a modded one and wars, because I think they have potential to outshine other blasters, but this is what I want to do next!!
Chaylo Laurino HOLY CRAP!!! When I posted that you were at 815 subs! Now ur at like 900 you are the fastest growing nerf channel ever dude!(no sarcasm, That's a lot for a new channel) Btw, you should save up egg cartons, and when you have a lot of them, use the small pyramids in it, cut them out, then cut them in half, then and hot glue them on a stryfe in a ice pattern then cover them in epoxy. Sand it down and you should have a really cool ice pattern. I am doing it right now but with epoxy putty (I made a mistake, use normal epoxy and a paint brush) and of course you can pick out a really nice ice colored paint. :) p.p.s you can make your own motor cover that way that looks sweet and it is functional as a cover
And if you use epoxy putty it will eat your money up like a monster and it is really heavy. And I know I just won't shut up about it but reinforce the small "ice shards" with more hot glue, that way if you drop it, the epoxy doesn't just shatter
What if you used to terra scout (internals ie press a button and the blaster fires)and mount it on your chest or on the front of your blaster then press a button to fire it just by pressing the button
Captain Xavier have you looked at the buzz bee brute? it revs on a half pull and fires on a full pull. it works about as well as a rapidstrike, but are cheaper. just need to find someplace for the batteries.
I did something like that but I used a Raven and I used a trigger stick that was wired to it where when you push the button the flywheels would Rev and if you held it down would fire off the darts
If your thinking of going full auto flywheel, might i suggest a cut down hyperfire? its got enough dead space in the front to add a battery tray for imrs or something to power it. Theres my 2 cents.
Have you ever tried making a hidden blaster it's essentially the hidden gun from assassins creed I've heard of them done with jolts it sounds like something you might be interested in and could add to I'm definitely thinking about it if I get the time
@@CaptainXavier yes you replied I think it's a cool concept because its a literal "last ditch" And one that would totally catch people off guard but even if you don't use it in a war it would be a neat blaster to own
It turns out rapid madnesses from boomco can be minimized to be super small, and although it isn't a good primary it is good if you need to quickly shoot somebody as a last resort. If that was an arm blaster/shoulder it seems like it might be a good last resort. i.imgur.com/BZHjhwb.jpg so like that but with the trigger removed
I don't have my hands in 3D printing, or designing systems that'd work, but if you were so inclined to go all out with something like a wrist mounted auto pistol, a clip that rotated horizontally around your wrist to keep your capacity rather decent while preventing a clip from sticking out and snagging doesn't sound impossible for someone to do. It'd sure in hell be a project though. Mayhaps setting up a blaster with the clip aimed up, could allow something like the 18 to actually rest on your wrist to help maintain the weight, but it may be a problem with that typical strap mount.
That's an idea, an open ring clip that revolves around the gun at a fixed point around your wrist. you could reload and potentially fire it on the fly.
Why dont you attach a special foregrip to it that slots into the Wrist raider and when you have used all your ammo on your other weapons pull out the foregrip which has a switch or trigger and it should automatically fire instead of you pulling the bolt back and forth
While I have no science to back it up I would suspect the blaster with the breach is likely to have more accurate. Typically the more time a projectile spends in a barrel when being fired the more accurate it will be. But again, I cannot truly back this up. Why?
Hey Cap not sure if you read these comments still, but what if you moded a similar blaster to be primed left handed (3d printed shell) and mount it on the top of the armguard. Have a 3d printed clip in mount that can be strapped on with velcro or w.e ya call it or adjustable straps to tighten it down so its not overly loose of wobbling around. If its a regular loadout for you it might be a good investment and allow better and more accurate extension of your arm while firing. It would result it a more functional and practical wrist blaster. The build your using now for it seems to be more work then needed just to fire off a few rounds. lol If you could get back to me on your insights and opinions in regards to this id be very interested in making one for myself.
Well, what I plan to build someday is a flywheel wrist blaster either full or semi auto. The one I based this on was mounted on the left arm and was mounted on top. The reason being the location of the mag well. Accuracy was never a concern with this. If I am down to using it then Zombies are right on top over me and I just want to hit a few before I die. :P
Captain Xavier to true a semi or full auto would definitely be awesome. Given there arent many semi or full auto "pistols" so to speak, are you looking at rigging your current wrist blaster or would you look more towards something like the stryfe? For someone just getting into nerf moding, whats the chances of really messing up? Id like to swap my modulus for a full auto flywheel but relly dont wanna screw up and have to fork out another $60 on the same blaster. ill be looking forward to seeing your work on all your future modings.
Captain Xavier Could you make a box with rapidstrike internals, put it on your arm, then have a trigger leading to the box to shoot it? Would that be too far for the dart to travel? If so, why does it matter if it isn't your primary?
when you said you want to make the the gun one hand fire what about making the priming handle heavier and make it more slidey if that makes sense so then just jolt your hand forward when you got to get a shot out
As a matter of fact the next series of videos I plan to release are of all my gear. The Battle Belt, Plate Carrier, Battle Pack, and Protective gear. Should be a fun series. Some people might find it boring and pointless since it doesn't really involve Nerf modding but I have received a few request on it so I plan to do it anyway.
I wonder if you could put a c02 canister in it and make it so when you pull the trigger a dart comes out and then the bolt gets blasted back loading another dart in and so forth
You are the second person to ask. I have not. I have never even heard of them. I will have to look them up and give it a try. I have many many 6rd mags...
Basically you open up the mag and cut the bar that pushes the darts down as much as you can so compresses closer to the bottom of the mag, and cut the bottom off the mag to the rim bit. Then you just put a plate or something to cover up the mag's bottom.
you should do a tutorial on how to make the rocket launcher and where you buy the toilet blasters that is the hart of the rocket launch (if you didn't know viewers)
The link to the drain blasters is in the description of all the drain blaster videos. I have filmed a build on the bazooka, but I have not uploaded it because I still have not found a place big enough to do a proper range test.
Exactly. Stampedes do not automate well and flywheel blasters require two triggers, unless you do some serious mods and use brushless motors. Which I might. Alternatively I could is a solenoid to pull a stampede trigger...
I have an Idea, might work with this or any slamfire blaster: something pulling the priming mech from the shoulder, so a boxing (the sport, not the act of putting in boxes) movement would prime and fire,
since there is no Nerf scene down here Iwould not know if such things exist, but I think this boxer style shooting might feel like fire bending from Avatar....
What if you made it able to fire it by the flick of the wrist using a small gear step up sence the priming part under the orange know is metal so why not a gear system to make it able to fire at a flick of the wrist like spider man?
No I was saying why not take what you have a make a small gear set up almost like Spiderman web shooter that uses silly string but with this wrist mounted raider
maybe instead of having a wrist stryfe with a magwell, try putting darts into a clear tube running down your arm with a fan similar to how outofdarts feeds his balls. but then again...you could just make a minimized wrist mounted zeus
Nope. I built it LONG before I had a channel so there is not build video. Not that hard. Cut off everything that is not needed, glue the trigger back, add a handle to the bolt, attach to a bracer.
You should space out your videos more so you don't burn out too fast. If you plan on staying on youtube for a while this video frequency is unsustainable. Just some friendly advice.
I am aware. Thank you for the advice. I just wanted to get some content to justify all the subscribers I had before even starting. I will be slowing it down going forward.
I am about to upload a series on my tactical gear/load out. Plate carrier, battle belt, battle pack, protective gear, etc. Enough people asked I figured I'd do it. Many will probably find it boring and pointless...but to each their own. :P
