They should definitely reduce the cost for hiring followers from cities.Why would I ever pay like 120 for one meh follower when I can upgrade my camp 2 times for the same amount of money (given you are often getting free followers via events).

I’m glad I got a chance to start my campaign with the un nerfed elements. My camp has 3 hooded figures. I knew a nerf was incoming. I could smell it.

The funniest bug I've seen so far was in the 1178 start when the young King of England repeatedly appointed his uncle Richard as regent despite Richard having died fifteen years earlier.

I loaded up my old game and my count had 3.6 BILLION heavy infantry that only cost 3.6 gold per month to raise and run around with. It was an interesting day.

I dont know if it is a bug, intentional, or plain unlucky. Whenever I looked at new people in the tavern, it kept giving me only people like 55+, often 70. I dont want to spend money to hir someone on the verge of death

Yeah, I find it insane that they didn't pay much attention to the fucking roman culture even though almost every CK3 play has tried or successful revived the roman empire.

Thanks for your explanation. I noticed as was getting less money for contracts today, but I thought it was because I travelled to a poorer country. 😂. Edit: I did experience the billions of troops bug. Wish I took a screenshot. Updated the game, loaded up my last save, and watched in awe as the rebellion that started against my leige prior to the update rapidly blew up out of control. So I pulled the plug on that game and decided to try out the landless features.

i think the gold rewards are actually too low, i barely made any money because all the money went in expanding and building and hiring, and ofcourse buyng food, like i played suleyman and tried to create sultanate of rum and you need a lot of money to do that

@@Malforian How to get a decent amount of prestige? I find it quite difficult to get past established and I think I might be missing something fairly obvious. The prestige rewards on most contracts are just extremely low.

@beleata74 I believe the Mortician's tools at the Barber tent gives you the ability to earn gold and prestige when winning battles. I used this plus buying elephants from india to gain roughly 15k prestige/fame for the Conqueror trait. Its also beneficial to move around the map to find any rebellions or wars to join, to keep the prestige war machine grinding.

Yeah, hate when I have witch (secret) and my faith has witchcraft as virtuous and still my vassals just automatically get strong hooks on me. Hopefully that gets fixed

I think the whole of harrying of the north story is bugged or something. After 4 attempts no matter what I could not get any rebellions to fire. The story just stops for me after the danish king gives me some troops. I think the issue with it is that the peasants uprising seems to target the duchies instead of the king itself but I'm really not sure

Yeah after I became landed as a king after pulling off a kingdom invasion and landed a lot of my followers I decided to try my hand at playing as one of them and had the option in the decisions menu to give up my lands. Was a Swedish man but I think as some others mentioned culture can play a part.

I really think they should nerf conqueror and scourge of the gods. I've played two campaigns with it on and it kind of just ruins the game. I tried a game to beat the vikings back as an Anglo-Saxon but the Duke of York just ends up conquering all of Europe and then starts going into Africa and Asia. Literally felt impossible to do anything against my Nordic liege since he had both traits. Another game where the Empire of Mali just swooped in and took all of Europe in like a couple years. I am going to be playing with those traits off until it gets nerfed. I like the concept; some characters just being literally 'built different' is fun but like not this much bro.

We do thousands of hours' worth of playtesting ahead of release, but unfortunately no amount of closed testing compares to what happens when every player gets their hands on it. That said, we tend to keep balance related numbers elevated during development (makes edge-cases appear more often) and then tune them down afterward; we'd prefer that someone's first impression of a new system be that it's too good rather than not good enough!
