If I did not know the story and characters and someone told me they are siblings I would 100% belive it. Their interactions are just siblings that love to annoy each other but actually care for each other.
@@Jesi0511teddy exagerated it. In simple terms it is a sort of personality archetipe for cahracters in anime (usually girls but guys can also be) a tsundere is usually rude/mean, but in reality cares or even loves the other person a lot. It is usually in romance and or slice of life type of animes.
@@meyearsago-lc8bqthis city is not getting fixed it’s being declared uninhabitable I guarantee. That tree is probably still there and seeing as it took a while I’d wager everyone in the city is dead already.
In DMC4 it was a common theme for Nero to Buster anything that dives/lunges at him if well timed, like Echidna. It makes sense that these elements stayed in this game. In fact it's almost like the game beckons you to rely on muscle memeory. "Can I buster this?" To "Still got it!" What is this? Why do I 1.3K likes? I'm Hella humbled by it. I'm glad it resonated with a lot of gamers.
Considering how the tutorial for Dante is essentially either in DMC3 or youd have to lab it out in the Void for a long time, Id say it definitely rewards previous DMC players with mechanics.
@@LadyAsmodeusIsn't he quarter demon, though? And besides, Nero might enjoy some pizza occasionally, but he always prefers Kyrie's cooking in the end. 😊
I feel like it's just as likely she'd be fired on her first day. Got the item to the customer in record time? Don't care, you managed to barrel through the first floor of three separate apartment buildings, drove through an entire parade in the opposite direction, and nearly ran over the manager of our entire district.
Imagine if more stuff like this functioned as a pseudo-ranking system in games. Low HP = tired in cutscene, High HP = confidently mocking opponent in cutscene
that could be a thing at some point in games, can see that happening - but in this case they even cover up Nero and V's mouth with camera angles so they dont have to re-do the lipsync for different dialogues - they planned these cutscenes all along to have variable dialogues
One of the games I imagine about frequently would have the main character's special attacks end differently depending on his status. With full HP, he'd give a little "heh," some damage would see him look more wary, and at low/1 HP, he'd spit at the target and curse.
@@predictless1009This one, a little over 2 minutes in is where the segment on V and Nico starts ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-SGC5ABFmZ-Q.htmlsi=nyzBhyF_XgphIVuG
Thanks for uploading these. Love the Nico phone calls. And seeing more of them and the tiny details that went into these is just one of reasons DMC5 is one of my all time favorites.
Nero calls in the middle of a boss fight. "hey I got a job for you" Van crashed into boss killing him instantly. "What do you wnat...WHat did you make me do NERO!" Dante Thats one way of getting the job done.
I'm convinced Nicos car must be some sort of devil-arm-hybrid car, with how it can just drop from ceilings and through underground subway walls and just shrug it off like nothing
The fact they put so much work into the game even though they knew barely anyone would notice it is insane. Just makes me more upset that this is most likely that last dmc game we'll ever get.
@doncinati7644 "Feeling mischevious, Nero purchases a mag of devil breakers and breaks them in front of Nico's window, and doing the same process for about a few minutes, leaving Nico devastated."
I got to half way through dante must die before I realized 1.) lock on is health bar also 2.) gerbera can parry 3.) the automatic royal block counter thing i had always just used the whole bar
@@mongodroid4842 DMC3 is older than me as well and I still love playing it. Though I did ragequit for a few months when I accidentally deleted my save file. I was over halfway through Very Hard difficulty after having beaten normal and hard as Dante and I accidentally wiped that which put me off the game for a while.
There is a neat detail surrounding the devil triggers of each characters. Dante's and maybe vergil's dt(not really sure if it's the same for vergil since i hadn't had a chance to play dmc 5 se yet) will heal and last longer than nero's dt
hm, I didnt notice that~ the difference between normal devil trigger and sin devil trigger should also be noted~ perhaps Nero's going to have an even stronger form as well
Every day i learn new things about DMC V. The Devs for the game got as much love for small easter eggs as the Cod Zombies devs, hell some alot Easter eggs havent even been found yet.
I played this game for 1.4k hrs That's 1.4k HOURS and I NEVER NOTICED THAT It's always the tiny details that warm my heart, not to mention the game itself is filled with "figure it out yourself and get rewarded" mechanics but even small features like this that don't even have an impact on actual gameplay are satisfying to notice. I'm just glad I can still learn something new about the game 4 years after its release
yeah to be fair you wont just let yourself get hit to get on low health and break all your devil breakers and then call up nico and watch the cutscene again ~ and v also has changed dialogues at three occasions when he is at low health
@@LadyAsmodeus It's like you haven't been in touch with your best friend for a long while but he still occasionnally sends you a gift or smth and I absolutely cherish every moment of that
I don't know if you already cover this but bosses capable of speaking have some shit to talk to you when you're dead on your knees, not only dante and vergil, cavaliere and malphas have some as well.
I know about dante and vergil and yeah shown his lines in previous videos :3 I tried testing other bosses, not sure if they have lines, but will might look into it
By the way, i know its not much, but during the rebirth of vergil idk which one missed out, the voice actor or the subtitles. cause dante says "Just dont know when to give up?!" and the subtitles say "Just dont know when to give up, do ya?"
Some of those hiden busters may be failsafes but im pretty sure the game has some other failsafe for no buster animation that isnt that animation so maybe not.
I feel like the Buster attack during Artemis's dive might be a reference to the DMC4 Echidna fight with Nero. If you grab her when she's on the ground and summoning those vine tentacles, Nero stabs her with Red Queen and revs it, and as he did to Artemis
Never played DMC5. Don't know who Nico is. She came through a roof and called him an asshole in a loving way and she has a Texan accent? I fucking love her already
