Now THAT is how you jam with electronic sounds! Cheers to all those in the audience who are truly letting the music bring out all emotions. Fuckin duds in this comment section calling the girls dumb just have no understanding of what this kind of music represents... and the movement and energy it is meant to evoke.
That moment, when you can't stop watching this live and looping it forever. I find myself watching Nerve and Jojo Mayer for 6 hours no joke! This music is definitively classified drugs and i' so addicted!
man fuck these guys, being that good, the conversation between Nerve and the Nublu management been like "hey Nerve, you wanna come play this weekend?" "yeah no worries Mr Nublu" "well what you guys gonna play?" ........... .................... "dunno we will make something up"
I really dig the quality of this vid. And actually, while Jojo is killing it, my jawdrop is mostly caused by John. Seriously, WTF? Wonderful thing, jamming with sounds reengineered from dubstep/dnb/anything EDM. As a bass player I am only entering this realm, seen them in Wroclaw- this is seriously bogus. And the girl in front- kudos :D
Well that happened. Its weird how when i see interviews with the band and they are speaking of underground every other second. I dont think of it to this extent. I guess what they really mean is, its a new wave, constantly evolving, chic, and dastardly expressionistic form catered to a select few, apparently chosen from their own interest and skillset. Wish i could say i was able to be there. Thanks technology ,for allowing me to be apart of this. Might i also add, NERVE... Killed it.
I have been into dance music since childhood and I have been exposed to soul, reggae, Dub plate, Funk, swing, Hip Hop, Minneapolis, Jazz, Blues, Latin, Pop, Fusion. Music devised and created on the whole by musicians who's struggle to create an Identity through their music has led them to new paths in groove. Then came binary coded music which has allowed us to create music that humans would not on their own have created but he has managed to encapsulate, emulate and make it his own. Man paying homage to the machine and through his creativity proving how much the machine has yet to learn!
Jason Linder jammin with Nerve is the icing on the cake!!!!!! I seen him with Dafnis and Guliana and deeyam he knows what's up! Now with Jojo?!?! It is so on :0 it was only a matter of time before this collaboration would happen. Stoked(@_@) !! Beat PaTroll in Seattle
Thx for the upload! For my taste, one of the most groovy and spacey gigs they made. Jason made a very good Job. jojo and John are ina happy mood. Great!
Saw many shows at the Izzy Bar before this. JOJO/Nerve became to popular. After Izzy bar he moved to a much bigger venue on Canal street, 98'? Stopped seeing him because of long lines and trend. Still one of the most inventive drummers of this century. History books hopefully praise him with the likes of, Williams, Jones, Jones again, Vander, Liebezeit, Giger.
HOLY FAKKIN' SHIE! DAAMN, so fkn killing, totally awesome, the feeling was throught the roof, boom! And awesome to see the crowd (especially the girls) digging it for real. Totally love how they just improvise thru musical language.. big thanks for this video, couldn't be better : D
