As principais características de Mega Man II que chamam a atenção dos jogadores são: ''qualidade gráfica'', ''estilo de jogo'' e, especialmente, a ''trilha sonora''. O cartucho possuía 2 megabit de dados. O jogo foi feito para apenas 1 jogador. Mega Man II era a versão norte- americana de Rock Man 2, foi o primeiro jogo da série Mega Man a possuir a opção "Continue", e também a possuir o sistema de "Password", dando a opção ao jogador de interromper e recomeçar o jogo novamente da fase onde parou, mesmo depois de ter desligado o videogame.

By the way, The Messages from light come when you defeat a specific robot master instead of defeating a certain amount of robot masters. Defeat Heat Man for Item 1, Air Man for Item 2 and Flash Man for Item 3.

Looking back on it 25+ years later, this was probably just about the greatest video game I ever played as a kid. It had everything... challenging game play, cool design, strategy, action, awesome soundtrack, and still despite all that, simple enough to just pick up and play... nothing short of stellar. Well done Capcom, and thanks for the memories.

Oh man the memories. Me and my 3 brothers used to play NES until waaaaay past our bedtime lol. Still own a NES with about 25 games along with a Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis and Nintendo Gamecube. The plan is next year when I get a bigger house to set up a sick retro gaming room. Cant wait!!

It's because the composers were incredibly skilled. People always write off 8 bit music as "beep boops". Because they have no ear for melody or harmony or arrangement.

Passed it like a boss. I always thought 1 was harder than this one but I didnt get as frustrated trying to pass 2. Castlevania 1, Ninja Gaiden 1, Bionic Commando and this are probably my favorite NES soundtracks.

in 1990 I got megaman 2, but I had to wait a week to play it because our TV was broken. I spent that week reading the manual and trying to imagine what the game was like. Well on the last day of school that year I came home and there was a brand new TV sitting in the living room, and Megaman 2 was the first thing I saw on that TV. one of my best childhood memories ever :)

Acabei de fechar esse jogo. Que aventurinha gostosa. Uma obra de arte. O Metal Blade é um pouco "overpowered", mas funcionava bem antigamente, pois até a pessoa adivinhar isso, iria um tempo. É um jogo cheio de truques, estratégias e grandes momentos. Amei! O chefão final é imperdível! Um clássico realmente.

Now that I'm in my mid 30s and I've seen the video game industry go from 8 bit to what we have today, I actually enjoy playing retro games more. Perhaps it is nostalgia, or maybe video games where just that, video games and not some huge story line on something.

That Metal Man fight is the most 'duke em' out fight' of all the Mega Man games. You shoot your shit and I'll shoot mine and let's see who comes out on top. Add that badass music and you have yourself a helluva battle.

I always use to do the Quickman stage first and use the quick boomerang in lieu of the mega pistol because it was more effective on most of the enemies. Good use of the timestopper on the Woodman stage to get through some areas quickly.
