I just fixed my nespresso thanks to your video! I called nespresso to troubleshoot but they basically told me my machine is broken because it wouldn’t turn and then I saw your video! I’m literally over the moon! THANK YOU!
Thaaaaaank you! I’ve been over a month trying to figure out what to do ! I tried everything and saw other hundreds of videos. Nothing worked. Yours should be on top of the list in the Google search 🙌🏼 this video saved my machine !!!! It worked like a charm !!!! 🎉👏🏼 thank you !!
Just thank you. I was about to buy a new one after 30 minutes with nespresso support on phone trying everything they asked me to do before telling me it was scrap..... It works like a charm since I saw your video :) Thanks again.
I love it- I didn't use my coffee machine for 3 weeks now (too busy to call the service line, I tried a couple other things as shown on youtube). This video solved my problem in 5 minutes!!!
My Vertuoline stopped pumping after being stored. I tried everything and no results. In a fugue of frustration, I fit a baby bottle nipple around the sink faucet, attached to a CamelBak tube, gasketed into the water inlet, and let the sink pressure rip into it at full blast while running the pump. Success. I was able to get juice through descale and it dumped some fossilized grounds. Holy moly.
Great troubleshooting tip. This was my planned next step but did not need to try. Was able via buttonology to slowly get the unit pumping and continuously running descaling fluid (vinegar solution) till discharge was clear hot liquid.
I've had mine stored since January of this year. I pulled it out ready to use just last weekend. The inside spins just fine. I insert my pod, press the button, it begins to roar as though it's going to brew, the roaring stops and nothing comes out. Then it blinks orange then back to white. Please help.
Thank you! I didn't have any vinegar or cleaner (our machine is at the office), but I found that running this top mechanism under some hot water did solve the issue (I unplugged the coffee maker first). I had this problem once before but I was not able to identify what corrected it. Now because of your video, I know the quick and easy solution!
Thx, I used this procedure about 7 month ago. It worked, I was very happy but also wondering if this is a short fix or permanent fix. Well, let me tell you again Thank You. I'm using the machine daily. Today was the first time I had to do the cleaning again. If I have to do this procedure only 2x a year, wow that's great. I expected to do it every two month.
FINALLY! After 2 hours i found your video and your procedure worked !!! Thank you for solving this - I too, had the air bubble theory and still nothing until cleaning the disc with some vinegar and paper towel did the trick- THANK YOU AGAIN
This is not the right way to fix it, the reason why is not spinning is because there is a bearing inside that has seized up. The machine should opened up and replace the bearing. He is just making that bearing wet so that is why it losses up a bit but will seized again and get worst.
It works!!! Thank you very much for the simple tips to fix this problem. I've just tried your way to fix my wife's Nespresso machine on this very first day of 2022. This machine was "on strike" simply just because it needs a "shower".... You've just made our Happy New Year even more happier!!!.....
Thank you so much! I have been trying to get mine to work for 2 weeks and refused to buy another one. I tried every button sequence to try to fix it. I cleaned the top part like you did really good and it worked immediately! Thank you!!
Thanks so much. We arrived at our vacation home and went to use our nespresso and it just grind and no brew. We tried everything and happened upon this video. It fixed it.
Thank you! My little spinner had gotten stuck so this helped me figure out it was supposed to be spinning, it just had gotten stuck from lack of use (teacher on summer break, I needed my coffee to start working again haha!)
Thanks a ton! Was almost about to open up our Vertuoline coffee maker. The cleaning of the underside of the capsule holder helped solve the problem! The machine sounds a lot more smooth as well, now.
@@jeffeaton6315 could be the water not going into the machine from the tank, like an air lock or something. Happened to mine, found another RU-vid video that helped with that.
If mine spins fine and there’s no build up, is there another troubleshooting process you’d suggest? I’ve been searching all morning! It just blinks twice pause and twice again
Thank you! We were troubleshooting our old nespresso machine for hours today and your video is the only thing that saved us from throwing in the towel. ☕️☕️
You all prolly dont care at all but does anybody know a method to get back into an instagram account? I stupidly forgot my password. I appreciate any tricks you can give me.
@Garrett Lachlan I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site through google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff now. Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.
Thank you for posting this video. This was one of the methods used that helped get the same machine , model GCA-1, up and working. My used / Goodwill find was so abused I had no hope in returning it to full operation. However, after seeing this video with head internals along with much cleaning, fiddling and buttonology gathered from reading the user manual, my unit is back in full function. Brewed my first cup of Columbia today, aaaaahhhhhhhh. So Good !
Omgggggggg😅 spent hrs trying to fix it and I was literally to take it to the garbage bin cause I have for so many years, so warranty is long finished and not about to take to Nespresso and spend hundreds to fix when I can buy a new one… BUT GOD , came across your video and needless to say, I just used a toothbrush and water and ta da 🎉 was working. God Bless you for this video😊
this worked - I used white vinegar and water, waited about 5 minutes, then rinsed and was able to run a cleaning cycle (power on, fill water, lock, press start button 3x within 2 seconds)
Thank you, Thank you for your video. It worked just like you said only mine took a little longer so my word would be " be patient and let the stuff work." Once it loosened up i used the Nespresso descalling solution and rinsed.
Great help!! Just received new pods for Xmas and this is what happened. Makes sense as I haven't used it for quite awhile. Old coffee settled and dried limiting the turning. Thank you!
👏🏻 I tried a couple other difficult troubleshooting methods that didn’t work but this cleaning method worked perfectly. My disc was stuck before now spins freely and now my machine works. Thank you!
OMG it worked!!! I didn’t take the whole piece off, I just gently try to make it spin and it only went one direction… gently moving back and forth and now it WORKS!!! thank you!!!
Thank you! I was troubleshooting our nespresso machine for over an hour but, just focusing on the airlock issue. Couldn’t get it to work until i did a deep clean of the spinning disc. We are drinking coffee now!
I unplugged the machine because the light kept blinking and nothing was happening. After following all the steps o still wasn’t able to fix it. Has anyone else had the issue where the light just keeps blinking?
THANK YOU FROM MONTREAL, CANADA! 😊 After 5 days of not having any electricity following an icestorm, all I wanted was to make a nice hot coffee when the power was finally restored. But my Nespresso was blinking twice with a clicking sound. I tried other troubleshooting videos on RU-vid, but yours was the one that made it work! I simply ran the top disc under hot water and that worked. No vinegar or anything else required.
This whole time I thought my pump was messed up and I did everything I could to fix it then I watched this video and boom you fixed my machine in 2 seconds. Tyvm :)
Had no idea that thing spun. I wasn’t able to descale it due to the red ring. Found your video, spun the thing around. Was able to run the descaling process and it works! You rock!
My Nespresso, same model also does that with a difference that the part where the needles are does move. Any idea what other problem she might have to make it work?
Could be the water not sucking up into the machine. Happened on mine & I found another utube video to help with that. This time this video helped get it going again.
ive tried brushing like he did but my coffee machine does not pour coffee. only a few drops come out at the end of it and light flashes red for 5 seconds. should i do exactly what he did ? i really dont think this is going to help
I used a spray bottle with just water and a toothbrush to clean mine to get it to turn freely as well. Nespresso told me this should be done once a week or every other week as preventative maintenance.
Wow 10 seconds. And all those other videos blamed air in the line. The upper wheel was stuck instead of spinning. Yes watch for the sharp teeth that pierce the pods. Needed a little force a d it spins freely now a d worked right away. Thank you for posting!!
I found one for free on our local marketplace. The owner said it was no longer working and gave it away for free. Your video saved it! I fixed it in 10 mins.
