hi everyone :) in my Nest session I’ll be rambling about books and words and how they help my process and stay calm. books have helped me make sense of my identity and the world around me since i was a kid. i think lots of people are finding peace and escape in books right now, I’ve been going through some of my old favourites for some creative inspiration.

I really need someone like you in my life. My life has been so lonely it would be amazing to be around someone that is deeper then a shallow muddle puddle of self indulgence. I lived through the 80' AIDs epidemic and to this day I still feel afraid to get close to someone because the lost would be soul crushing. Thank you for being you.

Hi every body. About queer’s books, religion and "Years and Years". I flew from Madrid to Manchester with my husband to see a the Y&Y concert that they performed november 2018 and on that weekend we met a guy that wrote a book called “queer and catholic”. I recommend to read that book because it is interesting, well wrote and fun. As I’m Spanish and a non religious person I don’t catch the whole meaning of some “Years and Years” songs but still I can see all those references about religion and sexuality in some of them that are disturbing and attractive at the same time. Olly, please, keep on reading, keep on writinng and don’t be affraid of your songs to have such a long and poetic lyrics.

I loved your enthusiasm! It comes from an honest love of reading. I've been a reader for years. For me, it's an escape, a way to decompress. To get out of my own head, so to speak. I just became aware of you late last year, and I love your music. Currently my favorite song is Hallelujah. (I say currently because I've loved them a at one point. And your lyrics speak to me) I would love for you to read "Try" by Ella Frank, she is an author that I love. She writes queer fiction. I would love to discuss the book with you, as no one I know reads queer fiction. (I shouldn't feel ashamed, but I don't feel as though I can admit it to anyone I know) Anywho, I would love it if you would consider reading her. I'll go ahead and warn you that "Try" is book 1 of a series, and they are addictive. She's an amazing author! Hope to write to you soon on the next book club! Stay safe, I for one don't want to live in a world that has one less amazing person!
