Great video and great explain! Thank you! However, I afraid that schedule / pattern doesn't save the money, but causing to spend more. Cause the weather (except day-night change) does not have a patterns. One day it is low and need to warm the air up and other day it's fine, and the thermostat could be off. In such cases manual control, according the temperature outside and person needs - its the best saver.

I have a "Honeywell" thermostat. I really don't need my whole aprtment heated as I live alone. Can I just keep the setting @ 56 and run a small personal fan when needed to save money? I heard some say lower it to 55-57 during night and bring back up to 62-68 during the day. Just wanted to know if I can keep it @ 56 to save the most money during winter rather than adjusting it daily and before bed? I'm not worried about pipes freezeing as it hasnt below 37 degress Fahrenheit yet.Thanks in advance!

That works fine and it really goes from person to person. I keep mine at 71 pretty much year around and just dip a few degrees at night. As long as you're not fluctuating too much... you will be efficient staying in a reasonable band. Cheers!

Hi DIAL, could you please share any info, how to set up mi Nest for winter time, am in New Jersey, USA. But i wanna to keep same warm temperature and save energy an money as well. Please any patterns to place on my phone app. Thanks DIAL

Using schedule should help you to save energy as it learns the patters of your temp setting. Also you can set the mode to "Cool - Heat" This mode allows you to set boundaries on when to cool and when to heat and never really go under/over it and thus keeping minimum effort on heating and cooling process. This and those tips on the video should allow you to really maximize the usage of your Nest Thermostat! Cheers ~Dial

Hey Adel! I would try to run your system just on fans to see what the results are. If that doesn't work i would attempt a software restart by going to Settings>Reset>Restart and then follow the on-screen instructions. After doing so, test the cooling again hope this helps.Thanks for checking out the video! Cheers!
