One egg, 3 tablespoons of oil, tablespoon of sugar, pinch of salt, cup of warm milk, 7 grams of yeast, 3 cups of flour, knead, leave to rest for one to one and a half hours, then you can cut into pieces and fry. My favorite recipe for pizza dough, but it's also good for fried bread.
I would not bail on your plan to make as many meals for the postpartum period. Just tell your landlord you'll start paying rent again as soon as the oven is replaced. I’ve had to do that twice. Once over a broken oven and once over a broken shower. No regrets. At all. Otherwise it isn’t a problem for them and it could take literally months. And in the meantime, can you prep a bunch of meals and take them to a friends house to bake? Especially for the postpartum stuff. It’s just too important.
Yes I was able to make some stove top meals and bought a whole bunch of food for the house. We finally just got our oven it took so many weeks for that to be fixed. It was like pulling teeth. Meals for postpartum are so important! Thank you for your comment! 🤎
