To my recollection Sonya tols Nestor she was not dealing with his brother anymore because when she asked Lamont for the $5,000, he wanted to know if Shirley would give it back and in this call Nestor was telling why Lamont had not heard from Sonya.

It is the responsibility of the officiant to sign the marriage certificate and return it to the court. If this was not done, somebody along with the officiant was with the 💩's. Banking, taxes, life insurance , etc. may require proof of marriage. I guess they didn't do any of these things together. 🤷🏾‍♀️

its not the brides responsibility to do that unless she coned the Pastor to not send it. On the wedding day the Pastor/Officiant is responsible by law to send in within 10 days of service. Nesto lies so we really dont know what the truth is.

So he finally said, “Man, if someone calls me I’m coming!” Lamont, still didn’t budge. So he then said, “If someone needs us, we’re coming!” I’m lmao, because he had everything he needed in, Shirley. Dre, even hinted to, Shirley saying she’s doing everything, like it bothered him. But, he then said she’s right. She’s paying for everything. Dre wanted some acknowledgment from, Shirley that he’s taken calls and sent, Nastio money. Well, Nastio is his friend. He should help when he can.

My guess is Shirley found out their marriage was not legitimate because he wasn’t divorced from his previous spouse, AND she is taking legal action because she was defrauded. So he spinning the truth by saying the marriage isn’t legitimate because she didn’t file the marriage certificate.

Ernie also mentioned paying Dre back on one of the calls. I think he was talking to Dre or Shirley. What we do know is he owes somebody and probably not being honest about what they said in reference to helping him. He believes everything Sonya tells him. If Nesto & Shirley's conversations were any indication, Shirley went to work but everything else Nesto handled, right? NESTO IS LYING. It was his job to handle the certificate. Not Shirley's but it sounds good because now he has to TARNISH her character. Most likely Shirley did start divorce proceedings and found out it was never official. Hopefully her counsel advised her how to separate herself from him legally in all other ways to make sure he has no future claim on her assets!!@
