I saw them live thus weekend, and they blew me away! First of all the sound was perfect, they perform exellently live and they have an album with nothing but good songs. If you get the chance, absolutely go see them.

Yes!! A Nestor reaction! Found these guys randomly earlier this year and pre-ordered the CD and received it a few weeks ago, the whole thing is GREAT!! Totally would have charted back in the 80s if this had been released. I've had it in my regular rotation since i got it, just a great time and great memories, just FUN rock and roll. Listening to these guys is like I just walked into Tower Records and bought a new CD in 1987! I'm contemplating making a copy onto cassette for the full experience, hehe. Was really cool to see some live video of them debuting the music and they sounded great. I saw they have some festival date appearances already booked for 2022!
This band existed in the 80's but they were never particularly successful and eventually gave up. Fast forward some 30 years and now they're back at it again, making music the way they used to. The music videos of course make fun of stereotypical things from the 80's. You should definitely check out the ballad "Tomorrow" featuring Samantha Fox, who was another icon in the 80's. It really is a great song and would fit perfectly on a "Best hits of the 80's" record (but obviously the song is new). Anyway, I love the band and what they're doing.

Awsome band. I'm born in mid 80s so i didn't really get a chance to experience the decade. MTV still played alot of 80s stuff in the 90s. That's how i really discovered 80s music as a pre-teen kid. Most of my friends listened to Backstreet Boys lol & never really liked 80s stuff but i was & still am addicted to the music from that decade lol.

I discovered Nestor couple of days ago and I have to agree with you, they are a lot of fun. They have that nostalgic 80's vibe without being too cheesy. Steel Panther tries to be a parody of the 80's hair metal scene but imho they fail, they're just too overly sexual and gross.
Kinda reminded me of Survivor with slightly heavier guitars. Emphasis on slightly. The video was fun, but the song was nothing special in my opinion, just typical retro AOR-hard rock. Sounds like about half the bands on the Frontiers label. But as always, enjoyed your commentary, and it's always interesting checking out new stuff!!
Hi I strongly encourage you to re-listen to this song and whole the album ! Nestor live on their own has a very strong personality.. not more of the same !
