Rifts in Israel's war cabinet were exposed after defence minister Yoav Gallant criticised prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu for refusing to discuss a post-war plan for Gaza. the war was initiated as an excuse to try to unite the chosen people who are too too divided among themselves at the moment and as such to try to prevent a civil war that could destroy that nation. so the more the conflict is maintained in an active state, the longer they can prevent the nation from experiencing domestic fragmentation. and everyone is fair game in this endeavour, from the hostages to those who are occupied.

Quite frankly,, and with all due respect, Mr Yoav Gallant should concentrate on " the Defence Ministers Main Current Problem", which is that Hamas are moving Back Into Previously Occupied Areas, and giving the IDF Recurring Headaches, of having to clear Hamas out of these areas again!! Surely, once Hamas have evacuated Tunnels, the IDF should Destroy, or obliterate these Tunnels, so that Hamas cannot return and re-use them??
