NETBALL SESSION // OUTSIDE ARM INTERCEPTION // SKILL PRACTICE 

If you want to avoid the contact call then you need to start practising your outside arm intercepts.
This skill is always difficult at first but confidence comes wit practise.
If you don't have a partner just yet, you can practice this against a wall. Start with bouncing the ball to catch and then work on quickly moving your hand over the top of the ball to catch and control it.
