I just now Closed my Netflix account for Good, So they pissed me off for the last time. They raised the price at the worst possible time when inflation & interest rates is out of control and i can't even afford to eat right now so good bye Netflix!. That $23 will now buy beans & taters.
I just got informed I have to pay an extra 32£ to not see adverts with my prime membership. So I shot over to Netflix I used to get the premium subscription. 15:99£ it’s now 17:99£ nah.. I’m done with Amazon prime & Netflix. *unfolds old dusty flag* My old friend, I thought I’d never need you again. Can’t you forgive me? 🥺🏴☠️ - YARR!
I just don't get this, they up there pricing and folks not only stick around but more get onboard, WTF man. The fact is the majority of Netflix content is in house films and only a handful are high quality, certainly not enough in my book to justify this price gouging...just can't believe ppl are sticking around for this.
Outstanding.. thank you for your content on the over rising prices for Netflix. I’ve been a user now for 14 years I think? I cannot believe how much it has changed & how the prices keep going up. Also now I see movies on here that I’ve already watched on regular cable..UGH 😤😠😡. I like to watch international dramas & movies & they would show all of it at once. Now they decided to do 1 or 2 episodes once a week. I’m canceling my Netflix
I agree absolutely 100% with you here. You ain’t the idiot here. Neither are the ones who have cancelled there subscription. How can they say they need more money? They truly are taking the piss. I try to tell my friends, cancel Netflix, buy a VPN for the same amount and get crackle tubi plex and others that aren’t available in the UK. It is essentially the same thing. Wake up people. Glad you do videos like this. I for one appreciate it. If one person cancels Netflix as a result it’s worth it. Top work as always
Well I was one of the ones that cancelled there subscription if I go back I would take one of the cheaper options like standard with ad's or standard. Why pay more for less .
And they have plans to go up again and again ..its going to be as expensive as old cable soon ...I just cancelled mine. Here is what I;m going to do ..wait for vacation time ..pay for one moth a year ...binge watch episdoes during break and that's it ...once a. year ....Probably I will never watch netflix again after last season of Stranger things ....and they know that ...ST is what impulsed Flix growth ...same as AMC Walking the dead series ...the witcher is gone ...rest suck ...
I'm curious to see what streaming will be like 2 years from now. An interesting article to look up. "Every streaming service is raising prices. How come? The price of a streaming subscription is going way up because the services were too inexpensive for too long. Internet companies thrive by undercutting the establishment on price. Netflix, Amazon and Google all offered products - be it TV, books or news - more cheaply than the legacy players. These low prices made their services popular, and some of the companies used that popularity to raise money during a time of low interest rates. They needed that money to fund unprofitable businesses. While this has been great for consumers, it couldn’t last forever..." From: Hollywood Strikes Are Over. Get Ready to Pay More for Less. Honestly, I’m glad I left Netflix before they even raised their prices. I left-in 2021. I hated their Contant that they have. I think they were more movie based rather dead TV show like 90% of the time. When they took away Family Guy I was pissed. Now that I have Disney/Hulu(especially now since they bundled together as of two months ago, I believe) I can catch up on some good shows and movies even if some are for kids(Disney) plus I could watch some anime as well(Hulu) I love me some anime
