When can movie/videogame reviewers realize that this obvious trend of ruining all art that could possibly inspire humanity, is not a coincidence, neither is it just incompetence and lack of talent, but actually purposefully done based on an anti-human agenda? sad thing is most reviewers are super normy and just want to make a little career doing something cool, they likely won't use their platform to speak truth to power because of the censorship and loss of monetization etc. I personally do find it funny that many of them still act surprised like they can't understand why hollywood is doing this to adaptations as if it's some sort of miscalculation or lack of insight in to the fanbase. In the end, once you become big enough you just get sucked in to the beast system just like gundam, just like drinker, just like many of the other guys who started small and seemed genuine but have since sold out so they can be big channels.
Almost every modern show can literally be promoted by having a circus announcer stand in front of the audience and say, "Step right up folks and take a look! I'm from México and I really feel weird when "Latins" (please, stop using the Spanish gendered pronoun, looks like cheap Spanglish) are forced in a movie about United States. But here is even worse because insecure people is trying to erase white people, no matter our country had less problems with mixed marriages. Thats because all high budget directors and casting all refuse to do the basic research u can literally google a 2 page lore on RE1, 2, and 3 90s lore alone and still pan a 3 hour proper movie with development and care of characters but no, we dont ever get them trying. As someone who has never played a resident evil game I thought the show was mediocre. It took super long for the plot to move along especially in the flashbacks and the action was sparse, not to mention lacking. Overall it felt unfinished, rushed, and like the directors didn't even know what the plot was going to be halfway through the show.
Its basically some cops paying a visit in the forest in the middle of the night, being attacked by zombie doggos, get inside of the playboy mansion and discover the whole place is a huge lab

What I have seen and heard of this. This is worse than the Halo "adaptation." It's teen drama BS with Metal Gear Wesker, Political preaching about Veganism. and a Resident Evil: World Apocalypse for the 20th time. Even Resident Evil 6 doesn't go world apocalypse in it's convoluted plot. RE is one of the easiest concepts to adapt, Hollywood can't even write fanfiction quality. These references... What girl talks to their parents about Zootopia porn? Why are they making the most cringe internet references possible? Do they seriously expect the average netflix subscriber to know what 4chan is? Elon Musk supposedly exists in this RE setting...uh... the language is like a cliche internet commenter who lives on twitter. Rick and Morty? Why? Reference after reference. In order to get a real adaption to RE it would have to be made by classic horror creators because they're style aligns with RE. The campy non serious characters and scripts mixed with brutal gory violence are very reminiscent of the way classic horror movies were made. Modern attempts to steal its elements to then be improved by narcissistic politically motivated inexperienced writers will never work. At this point its hard to say how long it will take for movie/tv people to trust the video games stories and work with them not against them. When we have a**wipes who always think they know better. It never crosses their mind that maybe this thing is popular as it is and if I change it. Its magic gets destroyed in the process.

RE4 is probably already a giftwrapped piece of fun corny horror action movie. Just stitch the cutscenes together with action segments, get actors who resemble the characters deliver the corny lines and you have yourself a high production so bad it's good movie at worst.

Pretty sure the Calais plot line is another woke political commentary on the illegal immigration issue facing the UK. For context Calais is like the UKs version of the Mexico border, where all of the illlegal immigrants congregate who are trying to get into the UK. We have a huge issue with human traffickers (aided by liberal “charities”) bringing thousands of migrants (mostly young and male) into the UK illegally.
Aside from that, the only Americans that would know of Calais's existence are WW2 buffs that know that the Germans were lead to believe the D-Day invasion would be around Calais rather than Normandy.

i was one of the poor masochistic saps who watched the whole damn thing and while it was full of plenty of stupid moments i think the worst was near the end... she brings a zombie onboard to test her magic zombie pheremone... tied up with light straps and with the excuse it was cold so it wouldn't be as strong or fast... okay ? what happens when it warms up considering you're in a temp controlled lab ? couldn't you test it on the boat you went out on ? was it completely necessary AS A SCIENTIST to have your daughter there to do the first test or to tell no-one you wanted a zombie for testing despite them supporting your cause entirely ? don't even get me started on the fucking crocodile/alligator (didn't give enough of a fuck to remember which) and how its conveniently in cryosleep till they need it or how they captured it.

If I had the chance to make my ideal resident evil story in the form of a series it would be: 1. Entirely made in the RE engine so better blend the characters and enemies and the world.(bad CGI can really ruin a good movie/series) 2. It would show the actual raccoon city outbreak from the very beginning as well as from the point of view of regular citizens. 3. It would probably focus on characters either from outbreak or connected to characters from outbreak. 4. It would showcase the more tragic points of the outbreak (people's family and friends and even pets becoming infected, hell more than likely even household plants became deadly paired with the fact that literally nobody knew what was going on until it was too late) 5. It would show well known locations of raccoon city as well entirely new locations. 6. It would also show what happened to the other small town who's water supply came from victory lake. 7. The zoo would have several of its own episodes 8. Rita would be one of the main characters 9. It would show an in depth look at raccoon city before the outbreak (I cant think of a single time that's actually been done, every time we see raccoon city it's usually already in complete chaos and we've only seen glimpses of it when it was normal.

Halfway through this video I was paying more attention to the background gameplay than that TV series and following game story, eager to see more. I know very little about Resident Evil but even this video on mute would be enough to show me which story reigns supreme.

The zombie queen is stupid, however, I think they were trying to reference the female licker boss from Outbreak as it had a hive of male lickers that fought alongside it. My guess is that they were too lazy and too cheap to go with the actual boss and didn't want to spend more money on CGI stuff.

The plot here seems to be similar to me playing with LEGO figures when I was a kid, things happen because I decided to them suddenly happen like this out of nowhere. Convenient but appears to be made for very young kids if you judge by the intellect implied, yet the subject and gore? Makes no sense. Not that I really expected or wished to watch this waste of resources, I don't think any of the actors could show much talent in such shows. I tortured myself too, makes it so bad netflix could've just did a show about what happened to the group of kids Wesker was raised with (surviving ones)grown-up and working among Umbrella ,during the company's fall around the time of resident evil 5,6. I wasted my time watching it. After I saw Blade Wesker, I really thought this is all just a prank from the producers. I hope they give an interview where they explain that the goal was to make the worst adaptation possible. Compared to this, the 1993 Super Mario Bros. was a masterpiece.

I went into this show trying to like it, but unfortunately it is... not acceptable. The best parts we're those with Wesker, even though he is nothing like the Wesker from the games his actor is amazing, and the "fat umbrella guy" who's name is Baxter. One of the stupidest parts of this show is that they try to make it a sequal to the canon of the games.

It's not because the author is working that makes it good, unlike Steven Spielberg mostly directors won't actually listen to the author, they will just ask for minor things and adapt as they want or executive order says, it takes talent and consideration to work with an author in any adaptation
