sadly im devastated by the fact that they have no bandwidth control and the newest firmware update had so many complaints about how it ruined their router but ty for the help.
I am not sure if this is like a Belkin router. If it is you are supposed to run your speed test before you turn on your Qos. It was called something else with Belkin.

Hey brother actually not true. I get speeds upwards 100 without wmm disabled. Wmm is a form of QOS and may cause conflict with lan services and others running. Best to disable it I'm my opinion.
I live in the country. The connection for online gaming isn’t great. (Not terrible) what I’m curious about is this going to help my speed? (NAT type, Ping, lag, etc.)
I would check the following: That you are getting enough bandwidth from your ISP for your usage. That your nat types are open. That ports are forwarded. That you are hard wired. Do a speed test on your console. what results do you get? If all else fails try connecting directly to your modem.
HolyWords I am having this same issue please help. Once I get loaded into a private match online I lag out but my WiFi is still connected and somehow I still remain in party chat and get the message lost connection to server or host
@@toojayx i was having the same issue. And it was because i sacrificed too much bandwith for the sake of better conenction. All i did was reset my router settings and it worked for me
Alex I just bought my router yesterday so my settings shouldn’t be changed but how did you reset the settings ? & did you port forward anything or change anything after resetting
OK when you were focusing on port forwarding port triggering your list of items were there my list of items are not on this page. My list of items are under add custom service. If I add customer service it asks for a service name and an external port range And an internal port range. I have no clue what to put there and if I did this would it work. Would I need to change my IP address is for a specific port or leave it as what’s listed thank you
Hi. You would need to look up the specific ports for the game or service you want to improve. The internal address is the IP address of your PlayStation or gaming console or computer, or device using the service. The name can be whatever you want but is typically related to what the Port is used for.

@@HolyWords The one you got is hardware revision 2, which comes with a MediaTek CPU, this router was famous for custom firmware of v1 and v3 that comes with the Broadcom processors. You can't really do much with the v2.
