Jetzt, wo alles draußen grünt und sprießt, habe ich wieder Lust auf die Monotypie mit Pflanzen bekommen. Es entstand eine kleine Serie, bei der ich sowohl die Erstdrucke als auch die "Geisterdrucke" mit verwandt habe. Zum Schluß zeige ich, wie man mit einfachen Farbstiften Kontraste und Farben der Monotypien auch optimieren kann.
Now that everything is green and sprouting outside, I feel like doing the monotype with plants again. A small series was created in which I used both the first prints and the "ghost prints". Finally, I will show you how you can optimize the contrasts and colors of the monotypes with simple colored pencils.

I never fully realized why I was attracted to gelli printing until I found your videos. I knew this medium held potential, and I was fascinated by the techniques that many RU-vid artists use, but I was always disappointed to see them only being used to create cards or bookmarks and I wanted to see someone create real art with it. I feel that I finally found a teacher who utilizes its full potential. Now I am inspired to really get experimental with this medium, knowing that there is a potential to create truly sublime art with these techniques. Thank you so much for your generosity in sharing your beautiful art and process.

Hallo Alice, ich habe hier sehr glattes Zeichenpapier verwandt. Bei etwas rauherem Papier bleibt dieses gerne mal an der Gelplatte kleben und reißt beim Abziehen. Auch Chinapapier oder einfaches Drucker- oder Kopierpapier ist geeignet.
