A neuropsychological evaluation or assessment are tests to measure how well a person's brain is working
Basically these tests are specifically designed tasks used to measure a psychological function known to be linked to a particular brain structure or pathway.

Why neuropsychological assessment is requested?
It can be requested for a number of reasons including:
To help with diagnosis
To determine cognitive strengths and weaknesses
To establish a baseline
To help plan a treatment or other intervention
What does a neuropsychological exam involve?
The neuropsychologist ask u about any concerns of cognitive functioning and family history regarding same
He will also review your medical and psychological history and educational background
Your neuropsychologist will choose the tests & the tests are given and scored by a trained technician called a psychometrist.... various Neuropsychological tests have been individually detailed in separate videos
The tests typically involve writing or drawing, solving puzzles or answering questions, and responding to things presented on a computer.
