Hello Dr. Phil, I am a fan! I have shared your videos with parents who wonder/worry about bringing their kids into the clinic for neuropsych testing. Your voice, facial expressions, vocabulary, and mannerisms have helped parents feel at ease with the process. I have not previously requested a video from a person. I was inspired to ask you because of your approachable and kind manner. I'd like to share your work with younger people because I think they can more easily see themselves in you because you seem youthful as well as highly educated and relatable. I'd love a video where you describe neuropsych testing to kids who are 5-12 and struggle with focus and attention span, as well as people who understand things in literal/concrete ways. I am trained in Child Parent Psychotherapy, have an MFT degree, and most of my practice is currently with people who are neurodivergent. I use "kid language" to talk about the "games" they will play, prepare them about how few choices they will receive, they get to play a computer game, and they will answer lots of questions. My request to you has made me think about how I can show kids the assessments or similar toys so they know what will happen besides using "kid language" to prep them. Thank you for your time! Hello Phil! I am SO glad I found your channel again! I used to watch all of your videos, and then got sidetracked with different content and finally found you again today! I am one of those late-diagnosed ADHD (forever) students who finally have narrowed down what they want to do with their lives, only to find out in their late 40s that the journey toward becoming a neuropsychologist seems to be one of the hardest fields to get accepted into… I am really trying not to get discouraged, but having a hard time finding reliable information as to how to move on from finishing my Bachelor’s degree next Spring forward, IF I could get accepted into any school considering my age, GPA requirements, no experience with research, etc. - do you offer any one-on-one type of coaching that a student can afford (lol), or are there any specific sites that you could point me towards finding more reliable information regarding my realistic chances? Thank you SO much for sharing your knowledge with us, you are such a precious soul… much respect to you, Gigi.

Hey Phil! Big fan of ur content it’s really helped me understand Psychology careers and what they do. I am a a senior at UTC with a major in Rhetoric/Prof writing but recently found I want to practice as a clinical psychologist. Are my chances of getting into a psychology masters program somewhere extremely slim with this unrelated major or am I completely fine? If the chances are slim what might be some things you think I could do to make my application look stronger? Again thank you for everything you do!
