Please inform yourself and the person next who repeats without knowing. These people need to be corrected before spreading the infection. STUDENT LOANS One of the key points often misunderstood about student loan forgiveness is that many borrowers have already repaid their original loans and reasonable interest. The forgiveness frequently pertains to excess interest, which banks are writing off, especially since these banks were bailed out during the Great Recession. Improved messaging should emphasize this distinction, highlighting that the forgiven amounts are not the original principal but rather the excessive interest that has accumulated over time. This perspective can help clarify the rationale behind the forgiveness efforts and garner broader support because let us face the facts, Folks - people are dumb.
@@jeremyfinn6489 before spreading the infection? Interst forgiveness? I'm sorry was that the original plan or the watered down plan because your guy in the office made promises he could not keep .. now there is a shocker. Hmm look at your guys track record and do your research and you will see the decades of that trend. All Americans are waking up maybe you should as well.
@@jeremyfinn6489 uhm I'm sorry was what you are speaking about interest forgiveness? people are dumb you say? Uhm was that the original plan of biden? No. What you are talking about is a watered down plan because the original could not be done. So maybe you should do your research. Research : your guy in office has a history and pattern of that same sort of dynamic. Top in his class in law school. Lie.
Better idea, get rid of all income taxes. This guy lives in a state without Income taxes on tips, so why not just make that apply to the federal government too.
That is totally wrong. I've lived in Las Vegas for over 35 years. We have what is called tip allocation. The I.R.S taxes you at a certain rate, depending on what shift you work. An example would be, you work swing shift, and the I.R.S would tax you ten dollars an hour .so an 8 hour shift, you would be taxed on $80 whether you make it or not.
No. He is taking about restructuring taxes altogether. Democrat Party is threatened by the rank and file union members leaving the progressive plantation. Trump 2024 🇺🇸!
No kamala stole it from trump, do your research. She also stole no tax on social security. Trump also proposed no tax on overtime, lets see if she steals that too
Most people only report some of their tips I know this from experience. New York did away with tips and did what Europe did to ensure all income was taxes by including them in the price of the food. I always use cash for tipping and I pay them in advance (as tgey were meant to be paid).
She asked him a theoretical question and he couldn't even say something good about this in theory because he's afraid to say anything positive about Trump. I don't even like Trump but this is what's wrong with the country right now you can't even theoretically give the other side a thumbs up
Do your own research using keywords "Trump economic plan" to easily learn that economists from both sides are saying Trump's tax/tariff/ immigrant plan would RAISE costs and inflation like has never been seen.
Well at least it would release some of the burden if people had more money in their pockets to buy groceries or gas. That 20 maybe 30 (sometimes more, sometimes less) a week that goes to taxes could buy bread, milk, or help someone put gas in their car to get to work or take their child to the doctor.
Well Bruce Trump has had four years as president hmmm how did his ideas for inflation work out during that time. Oh yeah almost year into COVID inflation was 1.5 percent. 1 year under Joe Biden and it was 9.4.
Why arent tips considered a gift? Anyone can gift anyone else up to $18k and there is no tax reporting requirement. Why dont tips fall until the gift category?
Cause daddy gov needs to give that money away to isrel and ukraine double tax is the soviet way. They already get a super low minwage paycheck to go with it that is taxed.
They are income. If they were gifts, then restaurants wouldn't pay servers $2.15 / hr and force them to rely on people giving them gifts. If they stop taxing tips, then will they also force businesses to pay their workers the same as everyone else?
Wild promise is that like paying into the dole and your going to get something for it. Why do single earners pay more for not having kids. Unfair taxation my backside. I think that most people would be ok with taxes if the government would stop wasting it. Look to Demark.
Why put this union shill on the air rather than go out and talk to the people who have to live off of tips? The relevant tax law most certainly can be changed. Campaign gimmick or not, it's a great idea that I imagine most tip workers would love to have.

I don't know where this man has been but I worked in Illinois in the 70's there were no taxes on tips. I remember when they started taxing and suddenly we were given tip sheets to fill out. If you think people were truthful on those you're dreaming.
Average income annually for tip earners? I would love to see that stat. And for the work they do? And of course you bring up the felony conviction on other platforms. So glad to not be in your union.
@@TheRealEdStoner maybe in Vegas but many servers and tip earners are hurting. I know some do very well. But I would say most do not. I have no data on that but just from what I have seen 1st hand over the years and as a young adult earning tips for several years while in college.
@@RF413-d6q I would bet that you made more as a tipped worker at college, then your friends made working other jobs. Tipped employees have a vested interest in people believing that they don’t make decent money. If you treat it like a career and move to places where the tips are better, you cam make a fantastic living.
