Railfanning on the surface seems like one of the less exciting hobbies to enjoy. What's so entertaining about sitting trackside for hours waiting for a train that'll take maybe three minutes to pass? Well, in my experience, railfanning is as fun as you make it, and with a little bit of unexpected encounters and some good company, you can have the time of your life chasing some trains. Hope y'all are ready for a fire time trackside. ;)
