I remember waiting for my girls plane to arrive only to discovered it was delayed over two hours. I hung out in the baggage area like these people are doing and I had no "fucking boarding pass" yet I was still there for "airport business". Also ERAUPRCWA, the baggage areas that were shown in this video are POST-security check. Meaning the people who are there have gotten their boarding passes, went through security, waited at their terminal, gave up their boarding pass at the gate, flew, and exited the secured area already. Meaning, if anyone had their "fucking boarding pass" in this area, I would be surprised.

I worked at this airport and it was a nightmare with the homeless. Men masturbating in front of everyone, people begging other customers to buy them things. One man got mad that we wouldn’t get him any more coffee after he had a cup and a refill he threw the rest of his drink at us. We were always calling security on people and they couldn’t do anything about it because the mayor.
I seen a old guy who looked homeless with a hospital gown on and a IV in his arm walking around pushing the rolling IV stand around baggage claim at the Atlanta airport around 1am. Came to realize that the airport is a huge homeless shelter
I lost count how many times I have gone through ATL. So far have only been inside the terminals to change planes. I never actually been out curbside yet.
The day time police at curbside pickup really should be correctional officers the way the talk to people. It sounded like a prison riot they were screaming and blowing wistles and slamming one woman's trunk lid down. Yelling at ppl for standing on the curb, I don't feel police or otherwise have the right to talk to people and act like that. The sign says curbside pickup! I paid to arrive here! And you are treated like you are breaking the law.

Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport is "Utopia" for APD officers, there's a great demand on the force to be assigned there, because it's a "piece of cake", compared to being on Atlanta's streets. I've known quite a few APD officers, and they've said that if they're gonna' be APD officers, being assigned to the airport is far better than street patrol, in terms of workload. You can sort of get a sense of what they mean from this short video...
While we all know they have a job to do. Giving tickets and taking homeless to jail is not the way to go!!!! Arrest the ones who do expose themselves etc and leave the others alone for CRYING out loud. When flying around the country I have never been bothered by the homeless. Plus if you watch the news you will see that often times they are witnesses to crimes that go on and often times are able to HELP the police by being a good witness as they are outside a lot. It is a huge airport so how are they bothering anyone by spending the night???
so tell me if i arrived at the airport the night before to find out my flight was cancelled because the destination airport was closed and i was dropped off and did not have the money or credit card to book a hotel room and the only option was to sleep at the airport even though i had a flight out the next day. Hey i have had that happen before Denver to Boston they cancelled the flight at the last minute because of Boston airport was closed.
