Hi Mazzy and Dan when we were in Tenerife we stayed for a week in a cottage in Santiago Del Teidi that you drove through in the mountains it was lovely. I did here somewhere that they had extended the TF 1 motorway to the north going through Santiago Del Teidi to avoid people having to drive down that windy mountain road but perhaps I got it wrong. My father in laws friends live in the mountains, where you passed it is lovely and peaceful up there but does get cold at night. We actually drove down to Masca and I have a video of my husband and father in law in the front trying to pass massive coaches on the windy tiny road to Masca and let's just say a few choice words were uttered going down it lol 😅. All in all though we found roads in Tenerife good compared to roads in Crete in the mountains and road along the Almafi coast in Italy now they were very scary although we did prefer those holiday destinations to Tenerife . To go to up North like the capital you don't have to throught the mountains you can head up the tf1 motorway to get there and I would highly recommend a trip to the capital as lots of history to see there if Mazzy is able. If not definitely check out Los Gigantes and Crab island. Vlogs from Los Gigantes are well watched as not many vloggers do full videos from there compared to Las Américas. Well done on the driving Dan it's not easy out there and my husband has his advanced driving license and is a dva driving examiner and even he said a few, roads were ropey enough. Also I recommend if out and about try a barriquito coffee it's a local coffee drink I think only found on Tenerife or Canary Islands. Have fun hope Mazzy starts to feel better soon xx

That was a scary drive. I swear I pick up bugs from plane flights. Maybe you picked your bug up from there Mazzy. I hope you feel better soon. You always put on a smile and battle on bless you. Dan I’m well impressed with your driving skills. Some places there wouldn’t be my cup of tea either. I like to go out for a meal, then back home to watch a film and asleep by 10.30. That’s me 😂😂😂. Not into the night life. lol.

It’s been a bit adventurous in Tenerife hasn’t it. I heard on the news today, a lot of motor homes. Along the way back. What did you mean by glass floating up to the top of your glass Mazzy. Or was it mistake and you meant ice cubes. Bit worried if it was glass. Maybe your a bit dehydrated , making you feel funny. You may need more fluid. Not beer as that will make it worse, you need water . The pizza looks very tasty. I bet the liquor is amaretti , thanks for sharing as always. Look after yourselves. What a pretty bird. Banana liqueur is nice, we used to get one to put on our lemon drizzle cake when we got home. Good excuse for baking.hehe hope your soon feeling better Mazzy.

Dan Going on a previous video but not sure if you have a s24 ultra (I think Mazzy has) but on the phone there is an app which can translate foreign language, Its called "Lens" and all you do is point it at foreign writing and it will translate it for you, this will also tell you what certain things are like flower birds and other stuff.

On La Gomera, they actually whistle across hills and countryside to one another. Not actually saying 'Pass the salt over the dining table! Almost choked laughing - we stayed at Los Gigantes years ago and kept listening for a whistle from the island.

I like Pdla not Veronica’s but the fact it’s busy and there’s loads to do and you can still go other places, I didn’t go out in Veronica’s when I was there but it’s nice to see the real Spain too :) there’s a lepper colony in Crete on an island you can see it by boat Spinalonga but I’m not sure if you can look around it, I do prefer Greece because of the smaller buildings really and not as built up :)
Oh Dan, I would hate the loud music beside the pool.Know what you mean. They shouldnt have it that loud. Yeah, they do that here in Mallorca too. They come out to fill up your car
I prefer you to keep doing the walk rounds and the food price give people an idea of prices loving the different resorts it shows if you would like to go or visit the place for a day if they hire a car 🚙 xx

Sad news in that they have found remains in the search for Jay Slater. The terain, while beautiful to look at, would be unforgiving to be lost in. Man that drive was tense just watching! Those pizzas looked superb. The crust looked perfect. Hope you're already feeling tonnes better Mazzy ❤
