Look up Andy Hug, a Glory Kickboxing legend. His foundations were in Karate, mostly striking with his heel and with punching force and footwork almost nobody could manage for long.
This scene felt like it was talking to me. Reminds me of karate kata that I used to find boring and not pay attention to. All I wanted to do was spar the best and learn by imitation
I was literally about to comment saying I love that they show how important practicing Kata was, I know it wasn't as fun and they've obviously scripted the fight to suit but the moves are no less effective!
One of the most punishing moves I have ever learned comes from Naihachi. My dojang has had bunkai classes and they are tremendously fun. Get yourself a copy of muye dobo tongji and see what kata can do!
That was amazing. If i was there among those spectators, I would have given that man an applause for that amazing combat performance. That was beautiful.
I've watched all the never back down films, Michael Jai White is unreal. Then again he's got many movies where he has great fight scenes. This is a classic case of never underestimating your opponent. The younger guy was too brash and paid the price for his arrogance. Like putting a man in a cage with a tiger.
Before Case even got in the ring he was already doing those moves he inflicted on Cobra it's just that no one paid attention to his routine cos they were so confident of beating Case due to sheer arrogance & having a too egotistical mindset
What was that saying "Pride comes before you fall".One other is "Be humble or you'll stumble" & "Pride will make you fall".This is an excellent example of Humility vs Pride. The idiot Cobra got what was coming for being consumed by pride & became an over-confident fighter.
Yea I mean, I don’t know much about martial arts, but I feel like there’s a reason why you don’t see much classical martial artists in professional MMA. Like you don’t see many guys who are solely black belts in karate or kung fu winning championship belts in the UFC. But again, I don’t know much about martial arts, so what do I know?
@@bostontowny4life744because in mma you can grapple in clinch in kick so you have to adapt to more than just one art but it could also be in that the generation today just doesn’t have that knowledge of the older Arts in techniques
This is what we call ART! this is what we ASIANS have and you Western don't. Come to Malaysia if you think Im bluffing , to Kuala Lumpur. I'll show you the Seni Silat Melayu(Malay Silat Art). 😊
In summary: ruptured liver, broken orbital bone, black eye, diaphragm hemorrhaging. Physical therapy: few months at most. Psychological recovery: 1 year Capacity of ego: neutralized
😂😂😂 making those types of statements is clearly a sign of a lack of education where these people are concerned. Read who Micheal Jai White is then get back to us
