Right, my girlfriend tells me don't go extreme once a week but break it up over the week. It's like running a mile before walking fir 20 minutes. It's more harmful than good.
I think once a week is fine as long as you can have proper rest but if you work construction and all that then most likely shouldnt. I cant say much tho cause im dumb enough to do both work hard workout hard and swing hard. Then regret life choices on the weekend lmao
