Never Buy LS2 Helmet they are not safe!! 

I bought a BMW once and a spark plug went bad. Never buy a BMW..

i got mine LS2 helmet almost 3 yrs now and still good and smooth.. got no problem, maybe you bought a defected helmet.. before you buy and wear it, check it first if everything is good. it seems you are still alive and ok..then your helmet saves you from fatality ,drive safe!

This video is purely anecdotal. Just because YOUR helmet messed up (maybe from lack of maintenance such as cleaning and checking/conditioning of seals/vents/levers?) you’re bashing an entire company. These cats make carbon/aramid/Kevlar GP helmets. You can’t buy the bottom tier helmet and then complain about it not being high quality. Dish out some money for a proper lid. Many companies make them… including LS2. I’ve never understood why people don’t invest more money in the thing that keeps you from dying.

Never had an issue with LS2 helmets. I have valiant for 4 years. Before that a strobe.

Hello the windshield is not meant to lock in place in a collision with a wall nor is it meant to protect your face . Its only there to block the wind .

One thing I learned from this is that LS2 saves lives even when you drive yourself into a freaking wall, so its a good helmet!

It’s not to lock it closed, more to stop it flipping up when riding at speed. Smfh

LS2 is extremely well built. I've had mine for years now, and have experienced no problems!

my first helmet was ls2 rookie from 2015, got into an accident (sand on the road and the car infront of me suddenly break) and slam my head on the road no head injury, i slammed it on the wall and only a scratch, i accidentally dropped it from the 3rd floor only the clip of the spoiler breaks and a few scratches. now its 2023 and i'm still using it for my daily errands.

You better change your Helmet. Because it has taken an impact so.. it might have developed cracks on the Shell. Thus, it might not take another hit and thus cannot save you in another Crash.

My ls2 helmet saved my life in my accident neither one of my LS2 have a locking mechanism

I was in an accident where I smacked a tree with my head, I was wearing an LS2 Assault Helmet. I didn’t even sustain a headache. This guy is full of shit.

Modular helmets have plenty of moving parts that's why I only use full-face helmets, less parts less problems.

The fact that even after hitting a wall you can still made the video is an endorsement that helmet works.

I crashed at 100mph wearing my LS2. I died a couple times wearing it. But I came back to tell you don’t buy the LS2 a 3rd time. You will probably die again.

LS2 user here since 2016...I don't have any issues using LS2 helmet....

Ls2 rapid saved my life in a highway accident.. one defect don’t make it a bad helmet if it’s even that ..

I agree that this is unfortunate. We sell LS2 helmets at our shop and the quality is by far better than what you‘re paying for. We have the same issues with HJC, Nolan and IXS helmets. It‘s not just LS2. And the recent line of LS2 helmets fixed this with a physical visor lock, so they were actually aware of this.

LS2 helmets are in a good quality and reliable. Of course you can choose a 500 dollar helmet but it will not guarantee the shield lock

Percentage wise more people are satisfied with LS2 helmets.😊

LS2 makes serious safe helmets. All the bikers I know who crashed with a LS2 on were happy with them. And no one had any manufacturing issue with them. I must say I prefer HJC and Shoei it's a matter of taste but LS2 is a good brand.

Your opinion doesn't make sense. The helmet did its job perfectly as you _literally lived_ to make this video after "hitting a wall". _Any_ helmet will suffer damage, pieces coming off, etc. during an impact, I have seen a Schuberth, carbon, BMW helmet (over €1200 back then) lose its entire chinbar during an accident, but the guy (my friend) suffered only light facial injuries.

That's weird apart from the visor the whole helmet seems like brand new shining without any scratches 🤔

My on crash on an LS2 that i though was exoensive. He went face doen to the pavement, it scrash the front deep. Whar got hurt was his price for falling loosing control of his dirt bike. I can tell you that helmet held perfect. NOW i think it was wekl price, i would pay more for it. My son is safe and loves he swaer by the, LS2 good job LS2, 40 miles an hour thrown 20 feet fase into the pavemnet, horified me. But all is ok. LS2 rocks. 😊

Dude , LS2 has been the best compared to smk or axor .... Is always LS2 or agv ... Very comfortable and great quality

Ls2 are great helmets but the one you got is not their best model... flip up helmets are both the best anyway I had my ls2 challenger for 4 years without any issues and feels great

all brands has defective products, even AGV and KYT. My experience on AGV is the paint of the helmet which is bubbled out, and in KYT TT - Course the the vent on the top come lose

You bought a 200$, flip-up (!!!🤦🏼‍♂️) helmet and you expect the quality and safety of a premium helmet...! Stop being cheap, buy a 400- 600$ FULL FACE helmet and you will find out how high quality helmets feel! Value your life or stop riding!!

The problem is that you got a modular helmet which are known to not be as safe as a full face. You received face injury to the face but not to the head. You should have told them about the shield when u sent it back

I love my Advant X and my previous Valiant FF399 Chrome. The Valiant felt more substantial, (chin bar particularly) albeit a bit heavier, but the visor was a pig to remove carefully unlike the Advant which takes seconds & little effort. They are both suffer with significant wind-noise though (that’s what ear plugs are for right?) but they are the most useful lids out there in my opinion. In my experience the LS2 UK Warranty centre have been great after I noticed some corrosion of the metal chin-bar release button. I took some photos, emailed them over and they called me to tell me to return to the retailer & LS2 will replace the chin-bar free of charge. At this moment in time I will defo purchase my third when the time comes 👍

Sounds like the accident was your fault and after losing from both the other party and the wall you decide to blame the helmet for the accident. MAKE IT MAKE SENCE

you need to be able to use the thing. if your hands grow from one place, then everything will be of poor quality

The reason you should by another ls2 helmet. You do not reuse a helmet that went to an accident

I bought an LS2 helmet. Only reason I changed was that I wanted one I could open since I have glasses. Bought a Shoei. The LS2 was just as quiet and comfortable. Now that I'm buying an adventure helmet I'm going for LS2 again.

I have ff800 . And that's perfectly fine . But I believe your helmet is modular which type of helmet always compromises sefty . Over that this particular helmet seems broken from beginning

I have an LS2 helmet and that has never happened to me. I have dropped ot multiple times and never happened nothing remotely similar.

I like my Ls2. I don’t have the visor issue and I don’t have the same model either. 🤷🏾‍♀️

I’ve had several brands of helmets like SHARK and HJC and I have 2 LS2’s at the moment the Advant-X carbon and the regular advant and both really good helmets. With good warranty so I don’t really understand your video seems you’ve had a bad experience with this helmet but you didn’t bring back the helmet in the first place when it wasn’t safe to use it

Lmao, you got into a wreck and the helmet saved your life abut got damaged??? I got into a wreck with my Shoei RF 1400 and omg it broke but my head was fine after being t boned at 50mph. Shoei should be ashamed.
