protip- always have 2x as many soldiers as the army youre fighting. gotcha

Keep in mind that you want your platoon firing unit s in 5 or 6 columns

Yes true but I’m talking regular fire by rank units. You got a good point though rick I should have said that in the video.

@@FaramirsRangers I am new to Empire, only played Rome 2 and games that came after :D So I wanted to ask what are these "platoons" units? Is it easy to see the difference between them and line infrantry ?

@@geraltgrey-mane695 the way to know is listed in their abilities. Basic line fire by rank where as guards and grenadiers once researched will fire by platoon.

i just started empire total war but even i wasn't dumb enough to do this 😅 I'd do this in caae of mele but only when they are not fighting for mobility sake and never against ranged
