@FaramirsRangers I'm talking about the gameplay in the background being low fps and stuttering. I hope you didn't think I meant you're voiceover as I have no issue with that
There's little reasoning for using the fire and advance drill. The only instance that made sense in my mind were when you're preparing to charge the enemy; this allow you to close the distance while firing before charging in for the final blow.
Hey man great video! Been getting back into ETW and hoping to start a British campaign. Haven't checked much of your newer content but I think planning the video out a little more and a script could improve the quality even more!!!
I like them for Siege battles. I ride them towards undefended walls or gates and dismount them to climb them and capture or just waste the enemy's time by having them rotate units to other places. Idk if Im doing good but I usually pair dragoons, grenadiers and a bunch of mortars for sieges.
Absolute monarchy ain’t as bad as you make it seem. The minus public order doesn’t matter at all since you get the 5 repression, -10 research is probably the worst debuff but still just 1 technology to be even. And -5 growth is a cute debuff since the poorest first tier industrial building gives you more then 5 growth already. Not to mention technology
2024 i can confirm this works. I used it to take down a pirate galleon that was threatening my trade routes in the west indies as britain. And with a less powerfull ship as well. After taking down the masts it was defenseless against my guns and quickly surrendered. I then took it for myself, and used it for a long time afterward. I will admit i do play on low difficulty so maby this will be more difficult on higher levels.
Hi, I know this is pretty off topic, but what is your opinion on the Puckle Gun? I notice it overshoots the target and I find it quite annoying, but it wins fights from what I see so can't decide if It's worth it.
the only way it is effective is using it over range when ai does not advance as it has no limit to ammo. This is just from my experience. Other than that it is too slow and easily over run
It works on any level of difficulty I only play vh/vh so it definitely works there and if you play multiplayer if you nun into a player that can do it you will know :)
There have been six notable leaks the last few months, here's a summary (all verifiable through the tw reddit and twc forum) -Pharaoh was a huge flop as we all know, support is only to save face, after this major map update nothing more will come. -Warhammer3 is stable, expected support is another 1-2 years. -World War 1 is/was being made, has a new engine and was scheduled for 2023 but was delayed for complications, maybe permanently shelved we dont know. -Warhammer 40k is thought to be a saga type game, currently being developed with no roadblocks as of yet. -Star Wars development has begun, as shown here and many other places. -Three Kingdoms II was started, but reportedly canceled.
You spent nearly all that initial siege with half your force not firing. Check at 8:10. All those guys standing there being fired at and not firing back. I know you love the frenetic pace you can move troops around at - but at what cost?
@@FaramirsRangers I believe playing 3000+ hours of NTW has improved my battle technique in ETW. The AI is sneakier in NTW, so one really must always keep an eye on the radar map. That has trained me to pace my movements better in ETW. However I'm still working at being better at your trick of firing and retreating, firing and retreating. I hadn't realized how much difference that can make until watching some of your videos. Keep up the good work.
@@pietergeerkens6324 I appreciate all your comments and advice. What you say about ntw to etw makes sense. In multiplayer have several people that play ntw and they seem to say the same thing.
The pitchfork are pretty good at defending against cavalry. If your units can' form square yet, the Muslims can protect your flanks from cavalry charges.
There was probably some genius ai trading between Spain and the Marathas, and it wouldn't surprise me if the Spanish gave up Gibraltar for something like square formation.
