can't wait to see how youtube butchers the quality on this one
this one took a WHILE to make: I started from the unfinished flp that GSO scrapped, then transcribed the rest myself
i'm surprised a backwards melody wasn't utilized in the original (like in mirror mirror), so i tried it and it actually sounded really good, also wanted to do a quirky thing where its like "ooh look when you reverse the song you get something cool" kinda thing
my "take" with fakeris was that they were found/summoned by piecing together the (4) shadow crystals, hence those references in the beginning - also used the green soul, since i headcanon thats what the shadowmantle will be related to
the video is (as you can probably tell) incomplete, i had the backgrounds, title splashes, and intro done so i just extended them a bit more to fill the blank space; AND the mixing could've used a bit more fine tuning, but like i said before, i lost my motivation to continue working on it for obvious reasons..
SKATING TOWARDS HEAVEN should be out in a few days (with even worse mixing)

I think NEVER FORGETTING was actually mostly made by Local H00ligan, the creator of Screepto, but The Joker stole the credit for it.

@@OffbrandDTravelerTo clear the waters. The draft of STH was made by Hooligan, then was composed/made by Pine. Along the creation of the song, the Joker came in and muddied it and credited it as himself. Never Forgetting was a Joker song from the get go, only reason why Hooligan is ever credited is bc he made the sprites for the characters.

I genuinely love how 1:24 sounds and looks, it’s like FAKERIS or the song itself is trying to re-create the Deltarune and the Freedom motif, even though it’s pulsating, not fully correct, but close! (Also, it sounds amazing)

@@mrshades5707 manipulation, emotional abuse, taking over/taking credit for wip songs, leaving teams they affected this way on a whim, insulting people, threatening self-harm, etc also grooming i guess, but i'm personally not really sure that really applies when it's between an 18 and 17 year old. still nasty and manipulatory either way the joker say they're getting therapy and help now which i really hope is true

this remix has so many cool touches!!!! tbh fakeris is such a neat idea and its a shame that thejoker kinda ruined it before fakeris got any good character content, but this does SUCH a good job with the reversed melodies and finished parts of the editing! probably gonna end up reversing it later just to see how different it is lol but yeah really good stuff as always!

did a short listen, hearing the freedom motif and the faint courage still play is super neat even if i partially expected to lol EDIT: thought id mention thats super cool also because it fits into the song pretty normally to, it doesent stick out it blends right into the non revered motifs which just makes it better! also, I think there was a little bit of the gaster audio at the end of the reversed version? I could be wrong though it just sounds kinda similar lol
