I like how with the Patiance soul mechanic, you have to be "patient" and wait for the bullets to come to you so you can parry them. Really smart idea that makes sense with the soul.
@@oscarpro8349 i think bravery makes more sense to give you a shield or something since patience does make alot more sense for a more defensive playstyle.
@@djuanaxt2475 I don't think so, deltarune looks like it's going in reverse soul order (red, justice, kindness, perseverance, integrity, bravery, patience) to the omega flowey fight, so I think chapter rewritten is just re-reversing that so it's (patience, bravery, integrity, perseverance, kindness, justice, red) that instead
toby fox: yeah we changed the game a little bit before it got released community:why so? toby: you know it wasn’t up to the standards the “ standards” *We can’t even have bigshot in ohio*
thank you very much, I was wondering all the time what kind of interesting attacks and a battle mechanic he could have, and I almost guessed it! I will be looking forward to the passage of Junkil NEO with the same impatience!
this shows that Scamton is actually just more of an [azz]hole than Spamton. I think he uses his insanity as a cover to act how he wants, as it does seem like Spamton at least tries a little to restrain himself. Apart from that amazing fight, really can see how much effort has gone into it which makes me uet more excited for the whole game. Gotta be the best fangame (fight at least) out there for Undertale or Deltarune
Spamton found out the strings were there and got pissed realizing he wasn’t actually in control of his future, but scampton saw the strings and realized he could get away with anything by blaming them for everything
@@Stanfordscienceman which seemingly drove him legitimately insane with an obsession with games (considering he is IN one), all while being bitter that he was discarded (despite it probably being his fault, doing anything and blaming it on something intangible without proof)
Jeez, one of the best fangames I’ve seen so far! Honestly, Scampton looks adorable and I like his laugh. The fangame itself looks hard enough, and I’m sure to play it soon.
Honestly, feel like this is how the flight would go with the character that is spamton’s character with jevil style. I can only imagine how. Junkil would go with jevil’s character and spamton Style
The thing that I like the most about this fight is that, unlike Spamton Neo, he’s not suped up in some new body or made any crazier by it, he’s just LIKE this!
This is too good to just be some free fan sample. Make your own game, I want a full course gaming session of this kind of art and passion. The animations, characters and art with those angles. Great, Great, GREAT!
This Boss fight has Attacks equal to Jevil's, some with the essence of Spamton Neo's attacks, the Parry power of the weapon is perfect, His penultimate attack is equal to the Final battle of Spam Neo A big version when attacking the Player, the idea of Playing with him and releasing without problems, it's amazing, like When We Cut the Lines, it's pretty much the same (except without the Bad Ending) The item and the Laughter, everything is perfect, the Jokes,no doubt... This fan-game will be Perfect
The line "no more strings on me now I will be free" is really interesting cuz it shows that they didn't just swap the two different Freedom motifs with scampton feeling free and junkil feeling trapped it actually shows that both combined the motifs spampton learned about the reality of the world and it made him feel trapped after all if they're all just fictional characters in a little game does anything he does even matter whereas jevil side as more of a freedom after all why should he worry about fitting in with society and doing what's acceptable if it's all make-believe anyways if it's all fake then he can do anything deltarune they're both told the same message and reacting very different ways with one of them feeling it as a crushing weight and the other feeling as if it lifted a weight off their chest and granted them true freedom and so in chapter Rewritten it kind of shift things around but not entirely scampton still feels as if he had strings tugging at his weight only now he feels as if this revelation of nothing mattering has cut those string take spamtons motif of wanting to be free of the strings pulling at his back and jevil's motif of feeling truly free by this newfound knowledge and combines them by depicting scampton I guess she felt he once had strings tugging at his back but then the knowledge of it all being the game anyways helped him cut those strings I think it's a very clever way of portraying the character because instead of making them feel as if there's strings tugging at their back like spampton or making them feel free at as if they can do anything like jevil they instead found a clever mix of both that makes sense for this specific version of the character after all if he is the character of spamton but modified to take the role of jevil then it would make sense that his viewpoint on the world would reference both characters rather than literally just being the Viewpoint of one of those two other characters
@@Kto_to755 Я впринципе не против фанатского творчества, но мне намного интереснее смотреть за работами самого автора, Тоби Фокс великолепен особенно в музыке.
The shell game attack is so delightfully evil, also can we just take a moment to admire the immaculate spritework? Those action animations from the team in particular are incredibly smooth.
2:24 I really like the detail when he says “[THE GREAT]”, it’s written in papyrus’s font. Probably because it’s the beginning of the name he calls himself, “The Great Papyrus”
The art is impeccable, the attack patterns just out of this world. Writing a little weird, seemed a little ez, but holy cow that was high class that was.
Since Jevil is supposedly supposed to reference Sans, based on theories, any swaps with Sans has to reference Papyrus. I mean, there are BLUE attacks, and the name Scampton the GREAT, is an obvious reference to The GREAT Papyrus. So therefore in conclusion, Scampton references Papyrus.
Actually , it's a swap AU where asriel swaps with kris , noelle with susie , and charkis (darkner version of chara) swaps with ralsei (darkner version of asriel)
I like the way this fight screen is presented, it’s similar to Undertale in that your point of view is directed at the enemy but it’s like Deltarune because it’s presented in third person and you see all three of your characters. I think I prefer this over Deltarunes fight screen.
