Plot: When an unspeakable evil takes over the world, the only protection for a mother and her twin sons is their house and strong bond. Needing to stay connected at all times -- even tethering themselves with ropes -- they must cling to one another and never let go. However, when one of the boys questions if the evil is real, the ties that bind them together are severed, triggering a terrifying fight for survival.

Good review man, shame to hear it didn't work for you. This one doesn't release until next week in Ireland, I'm still going to see it but I'll definitely go in open minded for sure!

When you said Percy Daggs the 4th, I was thinking the actor from Veronica Mars and was excited to see him in something again, but on further investigation he’s Percy Daggs the 3rd so this must be his son or nephew. I saw the trailer and yea this reminded me of The Watchers a lot. That’s too bad this is a slow movie, I was hoping maybe it’d be a different and interesting take on this type of movie but I guess not.

There the man right here. How are you doing today and how your weekend? I seriously thought about going to see this movie. However, an epiphany hit me like a ton of bricks told me not to watch it. I would let this movie pass like how some people would never let go that liquor. As for the Ravens, great win today? Back on the winning track.

I was missing this for sure but I thought this would be good. I loved Aja’s Crawl, and I thought since this had Halle Berry in it this movie would be good, but I guess not. Glad I saw Speak No Evil this weekend instead.

I also really like crawl as well but, this was just a miss overall. No marketing for it as well so I guess they had no faith in it either.

Dang, and I really love Halle Berry, Kidnap and The Call are both awesome films. A shame as I'd love to see her back in a good horror/thriller film. I guess will see how it hits with me. Nice one, didn't know about it.

This is something that I might stream one day, but I'm not in a rush for it. Halle Barry, the setting and the R rating caught my interest, but I felt like the story would be mediocre at best.

I think I'm in the minority, because by and large, I enjoyed this. I did find that the storyline lacked a bit of coherence and cohesion, but in an M.Knight Shyalaman kind a way, so it worked for me, but my expectations are generally low for this genre. This was a secret screening at my cinema last night, was pleased it was this film. Probably won't revisit it, and won't seek a sequel, but for what it was, with great performances from the two boys, and Berry back on a big screen, it earns 3/5 for me

I had a chance to see this a bit early gor the UK but i just couldn't bring myself to have to travel to see this. Seemed very lackluster.

Great review as always,,,,, I’m not going to be into this,,,,,,, I like the woods kind of horror too,,,,, but since I got my disability with my mind,,,,,, I just can’t watch these kind of horror movies,,,,,, but I’m sure other people liked it ,,,, until the end,, I can only imagine what they did for food,,, lol 😝

It’s actually rated R because of some violence but, yeah it wasn’t that interesting and it’s not really technically original either as there is another movie called tethered that has the same premise.

This one came out of nowhere. Saw the first trailer during Speak No Evil and then it’s out the following week! Your take is pretty much how it comes across. Some good points but overall, pretty mid.

I just left from seeing it and I found it frustrating. It had moments that I thought were excellent but it just left me a little cold and I thought the messaging was very heavy handed. I liked it a little more than you it seems but there are a lot of problems.
