Thank you ander, I’m getting posca markers this Christmas and you gave me really good advice! Edit: yeah I got a different type of posca markers, it’s exactly the same but has a different name!
@JumpingBoredom Yeah, I usually do what he did with Raph's drawing. I trace the sketches with a pen, and then erase my pencil sketches afterwards, after the pen ink dries of course because the ink will smudge and get messy if you try to erase immediately after sketching. I usually wait ten in a half minutes for the ink to dry before erasing the pencil markings
There's not really. Posca markers work differently, the brush doesn't usually have ink inside the brush. All of the paint is inside the pen, meaning you have to shake it, and yk. Press it down a few times. Then the ink comes to the brush, giving the illusion of ink coming from the brush. P.S, it may spend a little bit of ink, but that's not too big of a problem. Edit: grammar mistake
I never used Posca markers before but if I have to wash the tip to avoid any messy smudges, I'd just put the cap of the marker back on, and just wait until the tip dries off, from the water that is
💙❤️💜🧡🩷 I have a TMNT little sister style OC since the 2012 series, her name is Caterina, or Cat for short, and she's the turtles' little sister in pink
Wait, can I ask something? I’m getting posca markers for my bday, and I just wanna say, if you wash the tip of the Posca markers, wouldn’t that wash away the paint of the markers too? Or am I just dumb?
Yeah, a good tip I always do when it comes to drawing traditional art. After sketching, trace your clean sketches with one of those drawing pens, but before erasing your pencil sketches after you're done, wait for the ink to dry first so they won't smudge or make even more messes. I'd usually wait ten to fifteen minutes for the ink to dry before I get on with erasing all the pencil markings
