Thanks Magma, I routinely alter the pitch of basslines to evoke different emotional responses when I do these songs. It's subtle and effective.

There are some that I do like. My favorite boss themes so far are DJ K-washi, Mr. Y, Ms. Y, and the final boss theme, "Next Of Kin Showdown" The thing I appreciate most about the soundtrack is that it's scored like a movie with dynamic changes depending on the scene.

@@esmooth919 Yeah, I believe the soundtrack is amazing. I love the fact that the music changes based on the scenes. The classic games were just catchy tunes, and even the first level follows the classic style with just having a straight song with no scene change. But Oliver Deriviere did an AMAZING job with the soundtrack. I LOVE it. The bosses still don't seem menacing though. DJ K-Washi for instance is a beat that you dance to instead of get hype about. Same with Diva and Commissioner, and the rest of them. Even the last boss theme is a good DANCE track, but I didn't genuinely feel like it was a last boss. Estel has decent boss music, at best.

The bosses themselves aren't threatening enough in SOR4, never mind the music. It's the biggest problem I have with the game. How'd we go from monsters like Abadede and R. Bear to like the Commissioner and Nora and Ms. Y? Bosses were a complete joke this time around

Hi Razor, a combination of the 707, 808 and 909, but primarily the 909 for things like snare and kick. Cymbals and hats are a mixture of 707, 808 and 909.
