I haven't seen this one yet. Ever since the update quite a few big youtubers jumped back in to play. I can't believe how many of them say the Starfield is dead because no one wants to mod it, and there are only 5 or so templet's for POI's. I was watching one of their streams and I told him that I have over 1800 hours in and I am still finding new stuff. He didn't believe me and said the game was dead. That was what a person with only one playthrough has to say about the game. This game has so much to offer you just have to be willing to explore and play it.
Yep - seen this before, only on plants with atmospheres tho. Love the hilarious back story to the garrison, classic Bethesda writing. Was it the dodgy hooch they drank at their party that killed them all?? Btw, to avoid radiation just wait till the sun goes down (sunlights gives you radiation)! I have seen a few of them. The first one is near a marked Civilian Outpost I use on Bohr 2 to clear bounties when needed. Sometimes pretty good loot. Enemies are normally spread out for easy sniping.
I was at one last night…didn’t see the magazine so I’ve got to go back. I left the broadcast on and was attacked by aliens…sobs almost killed me. I don’t remember what they were called but they were lvl 101 and sorta looked like flying cuttlefish. Great video…and as always take care and stay safe ✌️
I usually only see it once a playthrough, but in my current one, I've run across this POI on Rana III --- 3 --- times now, in hills biome. Very unusual to do that. Glad you found the mag and legendary chest. That's one of my favorite parts of your videos - seeing what legendries drop for extreme difficulty, because I DO NOT have the balls to play the game the way you do ha ha. I was so jealous when were on that abandoned farms POI the other day and found the concussive barrow knife. 15 playthroughs and so far no luck, but one day - I will find it.
DeanPo great video as always! I have seen that POI at least once! I remember it clearly because I came at it from the opposite side and used my boost pack to "Skyrim" that side! LOL i didn't see the elevator until I had mostly cleared facility! Glad you're feeling better!
Have seen and been through this facility on several different planets/moons since the game started last year. Never paid attention to which ones. There is a button in one of the buildings you can push and music plays. It is rather funny to listen to while clearing the place out.
To anyone using Starfield Community Patch: Version 0.1.5 fixes the x34 sneak attack bug - but if you still want that, use version 0.1.4 (since it's also updated for the latest SF version 1.11.36 but doesn't include the sneak attack fix) 👍
I'm at 950 hours. I first encountered this POI after the latest update which means in the past few days. In addition, I soon encountered it again. I think there was a stealth update to POI generation. Perhaps it was not working as intended and some locations were not spawning properly. I see other comments indicating that others have seen it before, so that fact that you and I had not seen it prior to many hours of gameplay might be coincidence. That said, if I soon come across it a 3rd time, I will have to believe that it's spawning now at a higher rate which would lend credence to my stealth update/bug fix theory.
yeah this has been popping out ever since the 1.10 update and some In-Planet Bases are on top of mountains/hills now... there's a Radio to listen inside of one of the Habs there which has a cool beat to it good loots too.. wish they added Outpost parts like this (concrete paths/landing pads/elevators/stairs.. etc.) which is badly needed in outpost builder... they need to fix 1.11 it's buggy - > space POI icons not registering, Photo mode goes dark inside stations/ships, Stealing Ships makes your main ship disappear while in space leaving you the stolen ship with the docker extended...
YES❤ found one, mine was in a heavily Wooded Lush Area so the views from it were Brilliant and Beautiful. my had a hilarious lore story tied to it😂 Im guessing we are in for a treat!😂
Thisis super rare - in three new character playthroughs I have only ever seen this POI once. Still keep looking for it because I think it has a set skill book you can only find in this POI
Never seen this one. LIke it, nice simple layout 👍 alright, could you please check if they really fixed Toliman II ? I started a new game today, went there as usual and well.. all it had was base Grendels and base Equinox, base Ground Crew gear, and nothing else. I tried to safescam it 30 (!!) times, with the same result. Also, the weaponracks on the wall either have base Equinox, Grendel, or are mostly empty. Went to Gagarin and checked the boxes, same result. Went to Sheperds on Akila to check the box: empty. This is either extreme bad luck (never did I NOT get at least a decent AA-99), or they really fixed this. I don't know.
Can you please tell us the location you found the garrison? Was it in the mountains? Desert? Hills? I know it’s a random and rare spawn but knowing where it can spawn would be helpful. Thanks!
Was hoping when i hitthe switch w the music it would be louder or from another point on the base. That it would act as a signal and either nearby pirates or wildlife descend on the base now that you clearly alerted a large area of your position
I visited one of these for the first time yesterday. I never actually encountered any until this patch (900 hours played), although I'd seen other Deserted (Faction) Garrisons. The difference for this FreeStar one is I've only seen it on top of mesa type formations like this one... I don't know if it's limited to spawning in mountainous biomes or that's just been my luck (and yours). I don't think it's new given the other factions like UC or even Ecliptic have similar structures with similar names. However if it can only appear in specific biomes it might be a lot more rare to encounter than the others.
I took a ton of solar radiation while down in the caves on Mars looking for Percival and couldn’t figure out why. Turns out it was daytime outside. Makes perfect sense
Ive seen that poi, good place ti get faction armour for UC and freestar as they both have their own version. If we were colour coating its rareness of how often ive seen it id say purple lol a lot of pois dont seem to be tied to the random mission generation never gotten a mission there i always find it by wondering around.
Does your SMG have some sort of knockdown effect? Ah, you just said concussive. I’ll have to try that on an SMG then. Great for incapacitating enemies.
Freestar Garrison, not rare. Your way to play the game limits the stuff you get to see. If you accept worse loot, non-advanced weapons and no superior gear, lower level planets offer different templates. I have been to all systems and checked all bodies with the three dots. There are a couple more, even unique ones, like the sulfur mine where Barretts artifact was found, that make no appearance in a quest.
You've seen it before, just didn't go there. Lol Showed up as a poi in a vid a while back. Probably rarest facility in the game. I just came across it a second time in 2k hours.
You really need to carry bandages to stop the bleeding and immobilizers for contusion's. Otherwise it will eat your med packs but you know this . Extreme is all I play on know makes it so much better. Good gaming to you
It is new with the May update. I first encountered it when I accepted a mission to kill an Ecliptic Captain. I was so worried that the approach canyon would be a kill-box and wasted an enormous amount of time and energy getting up onto the opposite butte for no good reason.
Not so rare now,seen a lot more since the update. Before the update it was super rare.Only on planets That Kodama is super nasty, you would be cooked without it at the moment 😂😂
Yes, Hard to find, and i think its found in desert bioms. However its been in game since day 1. You get a magazine in there. There is always an elevator you can use to get up the mountain.
