You may say; I work in construction but not that you are a CEO or a carpenter. I sell shoes and not I have 4 special shops in the main cities and drive between them in my new Range Rover Sport...

I don't mind telling people what I'm doing and any projects in the pipeline because I'm confident that I will successfully complete the tasks that I set.

I live by this rule. So many people didnt know but its something about keeping your next moves to yourself thats motivating to me. You might be someone where the opposite is true but i dont do that. I sit, meditate on what i want, how im going to achieve it, then plan and take action. No one know till its already done. Telling people your next moves might get them hype and they might start to cheer you on which will in turn having you feel like you already accomplished the goal. I learned this early

We often CONFUSE two things: 1. Telling people about your ideas and wishes/dreams etc.. to share your life with them 2. Telling people about these things but in fact (subconscious ) you are looking for CONFIRMATION (because you feel insecure) And that is a big trap.... Your dream has to grow INSIDE and you have to take the first steps alone. The little seed has first to germinate just a little.... And THEN it is the time to share with the world. The question should be rephrased to “who are you?” What I “did” was transition from male to female which was harder work than any answer to this question. That is more work than most people will do in 50 lifetimes. Sometimes it feels like I’m under attack when people ask this question. Like I need an acceptable answer. Some people will literally become surgeons just to have a response. But I have learned that usually they don’t truly care what you say. It’s more important that you live by your values. Just say “I do me.”

For me, I think it means when you have those small inner whispers of ideas that could grow into something wonderful. Usually something you want to do. Those need to be protected at all costs. Even exposing them to friends, family, or people with "good intentions" can cause those seeds to get crushed by negativity before they even have a chance to get planted. Be very careful and discerning if you have one of those golden, precious seeds. Do a lot of work *first* to plant it, water it, & make it grow before you ever reveal hints about it to those close to you (who do not *need* to know). All in context, of course. Like if you're married. That is, do not speak much, if at all about the idea, to anyone, who does not strictly need to know. Speak little about it while it is growing. *After it has grown* you can say look, I have grown this. Or, people can see for themselves by the fruit. Don't give those golden precious seeds of inner ideas *unnecessary exposure* to the elements and forces of nature around you.

My problem is that I tend to get targeted by narcissistic personalities and abusers. My neighbors for instance are targeting us for adverse possession of our wooded area along our lot boundary. We of course don't want to lose it to them but they have trespassed and done all kinds of things to us and have lurked and spied and bothered us and measured our frontage surreptitiously about a hundred times. One of their favorites is to hire our contractors and ask them to enter our property for them or to provide them info about our property or us. The woman sicks her German shepherd on me on the other side of our new fence and she used to tell me I was lucky she had an invisible fence. Now she says it's her dog just being a dog -- every time I go outside to that area. She likes to ask me what I do for a living and what I am doing in my yard. I have a hard time not answering questions of people. I served in the military and see myself as a servant and on notice to answer those types of questions of anyone who asks. Besides, I don't know how to artfully deflect those questions. I am not an evasive person so when I do try to be that way, it comes off as aggressive or mean.

The time NOW to NOT tell people what you do!! So hurry up and NOT do that!!😃🤷🏽‍♂️ And if you ever find yourself near an agent or advocate that can assist you, be sure to keep your big mouth shut before they notice that you exist👌🏾😶‍🌫️
