When u r pulling out a tractor u always have someone on the tractor running it so it helps move it while pulling. U never dead pull it i have been farming 50 yrs.

Who would of thunk. A ranch hand will need some training but he seems eager to learn and please you all. Always test the soil before driving tractor. Know your land. Haha. Glad you got it out of mud. Now you two can focus on building a tiny comfortable house. Remember to prioritize, deligate work. Try not to be too much party friends or work slips again.

another tool for removing stuck and buried vehicles is use a onle tire/ wheel standing up with the chain over the top of the tire As you pull on the chain you are lifting the tractor up and pulling at the same time

Did you try to reverse out? I suppose I'll find out...

The second you started to hook up to the tractor I was saying, No No NO, It's always easier to bring it out, the way it went in. In the end, which way did it come out? Backwards, the way it went in. Keep that in mind for next time. I realize you don't always have that option. I'd imagine you didn't want to put the truck behind the tractor since it looked soupy behind the tractor. Winch and a snatchblock needs to be on your list of ranch tools to acquire.

Something you might want to consider doing is to get you a yankum rope to pull things out. So much better than a chain. Less stress on your vehicles. Welcome Adam

When pulling anything out of the mud put a big tire with a rim under the chain. It causes it to pull it up as well as forward. 🍻

Wow you really got that tractor good and stuck, didn't ya.

Use that bucket to help push you out while the tractor is in reverse. If that does work, hook the chain to the bucket and something solid, and then curl the bucket....

Like i said before get a Yankum rope, it will get you unstuck 100 times easier than a chain ever will. It will be a great investment for the ranch.

If you don't get it out while you're pulling truck leave the chain tight put the bucket down on the chain the bucket. I'll put force on the chain and as you pull forward with the truck. Somebody's got to be driving the tractor forward and then that chain rays up on the front end of the tractor and pull it out
