I was just at the one of these in Toronto a few weeks ago, FanExpo, there were a group of Daleks there as well. It was honestly one of the best parts of the entire event.

I'm half picturing the Daleks chasing down one person cosplaying as The Doctor, only for things to take a turn when the Daleks run away in the opposite direction and there's cosplayers dressed up as every other incarnation of The Doctor, all of whom are chasing the Daleks with their respective Sonic Screwdrivers.
You should SEE what Daleks fans build. It is a labor of love. They are really good. And the expressions of the hotel staff when a Dalek roles by them is priceless!
I mean, it's possible, they could place a blue LED light inside the nozzle of the gun so when it fires the compressed air, the light switches on and makes the air look blue
The best thing is that this is a legitimately good way to stop people from touching your hard work. I hate it when people think they can just straight-up break people's cosplays while trying to be funny.

Trenton Bless It would be better than the stupid new "M&M" dalek paradigm we got in the Matt Smith ep "Victory to the Daleks" in Series/Season 5. NEW COLORS?! Seriously!? Do we get skittles next? Am I going to taste a rainbow? Argh that was just ridiculous! They seriously could have come up with something so much better, more cutting edge, higher tech, scarier.... something more befitting the oldest, worst enemy of the Doctor! But new colors?? Moffat needs to be shot in the face for that! The idea he had for the cybermen in 7th season for instance, very awesome! I feel like the cybermen would kick the shit out of the daleks now after that and I feel more terrified of the cybermen than I do the daleks. I mean if there were a listing of fear for bad guys.. well obviously the Weeping Angels go on the top! But cybermen would go above daleks for me now. (of course I haven't watched season 8 past three or four eps. the show just seemed to be mostly for kids with not much to offer adults so I stopped watching. though i did love the new Doctor and his personality and what they were doing with him personally)
Daleks channel their emotions through their gun. Yelling "Ex-ter-min-ate!" is how they reload. Plus you'd be angry if you were forced to live your entire existence in a cold metal shell and therefore unable to FEEL anything.
Damn those are some nice setups. Especially that laser "spray" like what the Daleks in the Peter Cushing films used. Great stuff :D That last Dalek that the guy called the "Dreadnought" looks like if it existed in the Doctor Who universe it'd be even more deadly than that Special Weapons Dalek that appeared in the Seventh Doctor episode Remembrance of the Daleks.
I kinda wish Doctor Who showed more variety in Dalek forms, it’s usually just the same golden Daleks or the red supreme dalek, these other ones have really cool designs that I wish we saw more of
Well in the novels Daleks have different variants like the Dalek Dreadnougth that is more like a "tank". They are few of them and are only used for massive battles or with powerfull enemys.

That is pure awesomeness! I simply love it when people build such things. It would be really interesting how he build it and if it could be integrated into a normal Dalek.
The fire extinguisher? Those were integrated into normal Daleks in the two Peter Cushing Dalek movies - _Dr. Who and the Daleks_ and _Daleks - Invasion Earth 2150 A.D._

This video is from 8 years ago, but those Dalek suits are so amazing, they look top-of-the-line. I am just so fascinated and curious about the inner workings of those suits.

I love a Dalek at the convention. Those guys are so much fun. Usually, I just go up and say “hello, how are you? and an eyestalk gets swung around at me and it says, “I am fine. You are too nice to be exterminated. Have fun at the convention.” They’re just the best!
i guess this is a little late, but if i remember that is dalek storm, it was a fan made dalek, i think they sent it in to see if they would use it in a episode, and it was considered but ultimately was never used
The interactions here are all great and everyone is being super respectful, I love it. As someone who also does cons and costumes I can tell you that they've probably actually had someone try to jump on them and that's why he spun around so fast.
Lol this was at my first con, honestly did not expect these guys there. But they are at all of them in Ontario and are great people. Thus guy also drove by me a few cons later going "No Rides" The comments have been great I've been reading each one as they come in. Can't believe how well this video is doing now. And really need to start posting more lol.

That big dalek was ment to be the new daleks but instead went for paradime dalek that dalek is called second generation daleks i think there ment to have the classic colours

The one thing that's weirding me out about this is the guy in the big black Dalek doesn't seem to have the right accent for the Dalek voice. He curls the 'r' around way too much. "RIDURRRRS GET EXTURRRRMINATEEEED!" It feels 'off'.

I’m a little late but for anyone who cares the dalek at the end who “exterminates” is actually called dalek storm and there’s some videos from his creator on RU-vid. I’ve always been a fan of this dalek since i was much younger and probably always will be as he’s such a cool looking dalek 😅.
