Man the end hit hard, there is no trust at all. I've been playing on PS4 since pre ravenloft. I was a temp lock, warlock, an got nerfed to the ground.. Play as a Tank now cuz it's only content I get into almost immediately. I've probably spent 3k on this game jus for what I got at the time damn near to be nothing now.. Jus like the story teller journals, I grinded my ass off for thoes for nothing now. Edit: chultan tiger was BIS Alpha compy I paid like 15m for.. An to jus bring it to the zen market a month later for 20 bucks an was worth nothing
What we don't know is how rampant the bans are. It could be very isolated or perhaps the players banned were doing other things besides afk. But until we hear what's going on directly from the source, we can only assume the worst based off what we have seen in the past.
Okay, i dont wanna devalue your efforts and stuff but what did you expect? To make a perfect build and play for the next 10 years without changing anything? Like the whole point of mmo is to constantly grind and upgrade. If they devs didnt rebalance stuff and didnt give new goals to play for then the game would've staled pretty quickly.
Spoiler to get the mount you dont need to do the skirmish 5x it can be just done on the 5th day and itll count for all previous ones...still have to do the quests though
phone call? you must be joking? pc caverns already collapsed because noone even moving anymore, merchant is killed somewhere in the way so often. so many times i escort half the way to the gate and see players moving down the road and merchant was still killed somewhere. if you afk 30 min then presss 1 button and afk again you surely deserve ban.... temporary ban- ideal solution. on the other topic yes ratings arenot that important, i dont really care where my power is, if party using raptors or not. if you are under master content just be sure use good effects on items and time your rotation properly
I play on pc and there are so many people stating they are going to report the people standing around in the chain it is crazy. I'm not sure why they are so worried about people standing around helping each other all killing the mobs in a chain to help everyone make it. Also the zen exchange is down to 43172558 as of this morning.
there is a difference between standing there and occasionally press attack and moving in small segment of path clearing .... majority is not standing in chain, they are just standing there do bare minimum to get rewards of other people work

Personally i don't care what other players do with their time, as long as they are respectful and don't intentionally mess with mine, in PC i've been reading in zone chat a LOT about the people that go afk, but i think the issue is with the players that are setting auto attack and go afk in order to get a kill that counts towards the rewards, i don't have a lot of time to play for personal reasons (RL) so i just go to the instance with 0 or the less number of players and just go back and forth with the merchant, it's boring as hell but it is what it is. On a side note Gus, today the merchant went bananas twice on 2 instances (other players told me it happend to them too, so it's not just a glitch), just after the caverns before the bridge if there are no spiders when he gets there, an ambush spawns and 2 seconds after that, the spiders spawn, the merchant just flat out RUNS ! runs like he is on fire and does a 360 and goes back (takes a different route ofcourse, through every mob in the zone !) to the start point and just shakes in fear and you can't re-start the merchant and that is it, i have killed every mob arround that bridge (at the start) and nothing, some guy did went after i left and did the same and he fixed it (Thanks Darwin !) aparently there might be an internal cd or something, so if there are people auto attacking (afk) that particular spot, might set the same issue up there, hopefully not.
Nice Cedriccano. Yeah, quite a few bugs but for the most part, it works most attempts. I've had him end up on the other side of the may once he makes his way to the end. I stay in the circle just in case. Ty for sharing;)
You can still get the mount because you can do requested quests in one day until the end of the event. Just be careful to watch your journal quests and check carefully what is asked to do in the quest called « a big anniversary quest » (not sure my translation is accurate but you get it).
Banning bots and farmers is bad for MMOs. We learned this in Runescape when the open market became less beginner friendly because there were no more farms. So they made resources more available, and made Active content more valuable. Banning players always results in less overall players. We need to make games that work around farmers. These guys love "The Grind" and we love affordable prices. Let's work together
Only logical conclusion is players reporting each other. These maps are PACKED lol. Kids would think farmers are a nuisance. They'd have that mentality. With all the new players it is very possible. Maybe it should be included in an upcoming "New Players to Neverwinter" video. They always need to be refreshed 😅😅

Only confirmed bans on PC they got to be cheating of some sort then 3rd party system mouse recorders auto clickers so many possibilities I doubt a legit person who was playing 24 hours since the event came out would catch a ban because that means they play the game like that everyday and it would match the logs but since this good event comes out and they don’t log out for 3 days in a row they think that’s not gonna raise any suspicion
Number 5: i think it comes down to people always going afk going hours and hours at a time or have mulitple playstations using exploitation. Tbh im not sure... what are the rules for the ban. I agree they need some transparency on this. So ill disagree with these bans as theres no pre warnings which is very unproffesional of them.
No one is banning anyone for _"not pressing buttons fast enough."_ Opening boxes and tidying your inventory involves interaction with the game. But they will ban you for exploiting. Farming thousands of Bounties while AFK is an exploit. End of. On PC you are kicked after 15 minutes of inactivity. It's an hour on console, yes? You can take a 'phone call on speaker phone and play at the same time. {:o:O:}
its only 15 mins on xbox as far as im aware as thats what it tells me when i leave it on right before going to bed or to get food and come back it says kicked after being inactive for 15 mins
