Neville truly is one of the best characters in the series, in my opinion. He went from the type of person you wouldn't think would be in Gryffindore, to a BAMF!
It's interesting, because while Neville is making this speech, in the scenes where it shows Voldemort, you can see the Malfoys in the background... Draco looks rather upset as well...
I think Half blood Prince was a massive year for Draco. At the beginning of the year, he was so excited because Voldemort had chosen him for a special task. Kill Dumbledore. He thought all through his sixth year he'd be able to do it and his family will be in Voldemort's good books again. Then that night came along, Dumbledore was disarmed right in front of him, and he just couldn't do it. He realised an important fact about himself that night. He's not a killer. From then on, I think he secretly wanted Voldemort to be defeated, and with Harry 'dead', the chances are Voldemort would win the war and his family will always be controled by him.
A deleted scene in Deathly Hallows shows Draco throwing his wand to Harry when he reveals that he's not dead. It would have been a cool scene to include despite it not being in the book.
Draco was as whole whole of a person it didn't make him a murder he wanted Harry to win and so did his mother and he wanted to live again he couldnt fearing voldermort...
the courtyard scene where all just seems lost is my favorite. it's such a brilliant scene. Neville is the most transformed changed character out of all of them, and the movie really shows that. If I had to vote on which of the cast had the best last line from the script, I'd say Matthew Lewis wins hands down.
I don't understand the scene... I mean they've been all fighting all night just to keep Voldy and his buddies out of the castle and then they just let them walk all in...
sfgdhdhd Harry wanted to lure Voldemort into the castle to fight him all by himself. Bellatrix and the other Death Eaters (except the Malfoys, of course) ran in to fight everyone that was left
This is one of my favorite scenes in the whole series! I'm glad about how Neville turned out! I'm glad that the boy who seems like he has little power is the one who stands up to Voldemort when no one else would! Brilliant J.K. Rowling! Brilliant!
It just seem so right for Neville to be one of the persons to destroy a Hocrux, and Nagini is an even better choice. He pulled out the sword of Gryffindor, in front of Voldemort and that scene is so meaningful.
I just watched order of the pheonix again and after Neville does a spell really well shes says good job Neville and then she grabs his hand sand they run and I was just like ship ship ship ship ship
Neville always had the courage. From the _Sorcerer's Stone_ to _Deathly Hallows_ , it was always there. It just took the right circumstances to bring it out. Also, nobody ever seems to note that it was Neville who destroyed the last Horcrux. Dumbledore told Harry the prophecy could have applied to either Harry or Neville. In a way, it applied to both of them.
Impossible; Voldemort had Nagini when Quirrell got kidnapped; and it was implied that at that time Nagini had been Voldemort's familiar for awhile. I get the feeling that Nagini was one of the first horocruxes. Brilliant idea though, it would have been cool if that Snake had shown up later on....like Harry's own familiar.
The snake at the zoo was a Boa Constrictor, which means it would squeeze people to death and then swallow them. Nagini always bites, and when she attacks Arthur Weasley her fangs are shown to have some kind if venom in them which prevents wounds from closing. Boa Constrictors don't have venom. Nagini is described as green, the Boa Constrictor as brown. Timeline issues aside, these two snakes are decidedly not the same.
"And He Who Must Not Be Named does this fantastic vicious... victorious speech." "HARRY POTTER...IS DEEEAAAD!" ...you call that fantastic and vicious? I call it underwhelming. Just look at the weird way he nods his head when he says the line. Wtf kind of acting is that.
