They probably should have kept this in, but honestly speaking, Harry and Ginny's romance arc is arguably the least intresting thing in both books and movies. I'm glad the films didn't get sidetracked and slogged down trying to fit in all the romance. Would have destroyed the pacing and tone especially from HBP onwards.
