That grant program sounds like a massive bait for people to take on mortgages while the rates are still high. Why not target the real root cause and "grant" a lower rate to first time buyers? A $10k freebie just for people to get porked on interest seems like a real bait-and-switch.

@@laferriahetherington7517 Not much. I spent close to $5k to bring my rate down to 6.625% from around the 7% it would have been otherwise. Right before the spike last summer. Funny thing was my lender calling me trying to set up a refinance last month when they still have yet to lower their rate past what they gave me last year. They realized it mid-phonecall and said they'll check in likely next year. 😆

If you tap into the live stream for a period (shutting down volume for work) you should be able to come back and see live comments in a real time playback. At least that's been a YT feature I've noticed. That's assuming you're not using yr phone for work😅

You actually don't have to do that to see the live chat replay :) the live chat replay is on for all the livestreams, it just takes RU-vid a few min to add to the video after we finish recording
