Hello dear friends,
In today’s video I will review the new Chanel Sublimage L’Extrait de nuit serum. Sublimage L’Extrait de nuit is the latest addition to Chanel’s Sublimage skincare line. The star of this new Chanel serum is a naturally derived Chronopeptide combined with a complex of fermented Vanilla Planifolia and Neroli Elixirs.
Chanel Sublimage L’Extrait de nuit serum has a light water in oil texture. It doesn’t feel sticky and it absorbs very easily into the skin. It doesn’t make my skin greasy but it leaves a “wet” finish on my skin.
A little goes a long way so I think that the full size serum will last approximately 3 to 4 months (depending on you face and depending on whether you will use it on your face or on the face and neck.
Overall I think that the new Chanel Sublimage L’Extrait de nuit is a very nice and well formulated serum. However at $800 price point it is definitely not for everyone. There are plenty of cheaper and more affordable serums on the market that will give you the same result 😊

I bought a second hand car last year and the cost was $600. As much as I love skincare but it’s insane to pay that much IMHO. I have very good skin even in my mid 40s and I don’t need to use expensive skincare.

People have lost their minds. Topical products can only do so much. For $800 go see a dermatologist or a plastic surgeon and get some sort of laser treatment, peel, fillers, or Botox.

Hello ! Thank you for the review. I do use that sérum 4 times a week. I first put Sublimage Chanel lotion on my face, then I use the sérum. With the lotion, it is more easy to distribute the sérum everywhere on the face. I did pay a lot, still the bottle last me 2 years since I don"t use it everyday.

Another lovely review. This is way beyond my price point. I’ve found good skin care at a much more reasonable price. Chanel makes beautiful fragrances and makeup and that is where I shall indulge. Chanel, YSL, Dior and Guerlain make stunning lipsticks.

So appreciate your honest review and especailly knowing you pay for just about everything you feature. I look at the majority of RU-vidrs reveiws as infomercials because it's always positive and it's 99.9% of the time FREE products that they're going on about. No thank you. Your skin looks beautiful, there is no doubt that the serum was a great addition to your routine. I often wonder if the price tag is due to the "CHANEL" tax; you know, add the word "CHANEL" to something and suddently it costs far, far more than it would if it said "L'Oreal", lol. I was gifted many deluxe samples of La Mer's The Concentrate and they sat for awhile. I figured I should use them up so I began using them at night. Was not impressed for the first 3 weeks and was going to toss them when my husband commented that my skin looked "really nice". Well, that's a first. I still didn't see anything different and then all of a sudden....clarity of skin was brighter. Discoloration marks were gone. A few lines I had noticed getting worse were gone!! It was the only product I had added so it had to be what was causing the changes in my skin. For 1.3 ounces, it's $530...I just don't know. There is something about a serum costing so much more than any other product that makes me sit back even though I've heard and read that serums contain the highest concentration of the "good stuff" and are truly the most important aspect of skin care. Still, something makes me hesitate. I understand exactly what you're saying. As always, a well done video. :) xo

Beautiful video, I had no idea the price was that high, I guess I’d expect to do more for my skin. I’ve skin LeLift eye cream for years and years when I was in my 30s, literally fir almost 7 years but then I felt it just wasn’t enough anymore, not sure if formula has changed but it didn’t feel hydrating anymore and I switched to SkinMedica/Retrouvé/Sisley eye creams ( depending on day or night I use different eye creams) and my under eye area felt so much better and looked great🤷🏻‍♀️ so that’s me in my 40s🤦🏻‍♀️ now ☺️

Hello Eka :) Chanel recently changed the formulation of Le Lift. I like the eye cream but it's very light so if you have dry undereye area the Sisley cream is better. I've never tried anything from Retrouve. Their products are on my wish list. xoxo

There are great affordable skincare products (I am a skincare lover and I try both luxury and affordable). For example L'Oreal have amazing anti-ageing skincare line. Their formulations are very similar (almost the same) to the high end brands. Let me know what is your skin type and do you have any specific condition such as rosacea, eczema etc. and I will give you some suggestions. xoxo

Hi Angela. There are some really great doctor's skincare brands that I trust with my 50 year old face. Skinmedica TNS serum is terrific and keeps my face firm, clear and glowing. And it is pricey but worth it cause it really works. Love my La Mer soft cream for that glow under makeup, and Skinceuticals Triple Lipid Restore really does plump the skin. I love CHANEL for many beauty items, but I would rather save my 800 dollars for fillers or botox if that day ever arrives..U are lovely as always.. XXX

They are based on a lot of research and there are some products that are very effective. I am not familiar with Skinmedica in particular. I love La Mer soft cream as well. I always use it when my skin gets irritated and it works great to sooth and nourish the skin. xoxo

Great review! Which products do you like from the Sublimage line? You mentioned that you love some of them. I currently have the eye cream, the only eye cream that has made a visible difference. The La Mer is nice, but doesn’t do wonders for me. I am thinking of trying the essence from Sublimage - the one without acid, because I use P50. I have the La Mer essence now, love it. But maybe the Sublimage is better.😊

About La Mer: their products are good for sensitive and eczema prone skin but La Mer don't make a huge difference, Their products are good but quite basic and as I said - mostly appreciated by people with very sensitive and eczema prone skin. xoxo

About Sublimage: my favorites are Sublimage La creme with the fine texture and L'Essence Fondamentale Regenerating concentrate. But I purchase these products only when I have a discount. Keep in mind that they are a bit overpriced so I'm not sure that I can recommend them 100%. I love investing in skincare. It's a passion for me. xoxo

Hi Sarah, honestly I would skip it. It is a good serum but I think it is very overpriced. Of course the final decision is yours but I cannot justify spending that much on a single skincare product. It feels great. My skin looked very nice when I was using it but it was not something groundbreaking. Just a nice serum. :) xoxo

I don't believe that anything that can be put topically can erase time. Not even Vitamin A. Also I agree that the ingredients are not that special. Even if I had the money to spend on that I wouldn't because like you I prefer to spend it on other makeup or skincare items. The only item I have from the Sublimage line is the eye cream which hasn't done anything to me, I am 54 but with good skin, and for the rest of my face I use the Hydra Beauty as well as the Le Lift line. I like the fragrance of Chanel skincare to be honest which has not sensitized my skin in any way. I have been using their products for more than 18 years and love them. But that kind of money, I don't think I would ever give for something to just put on my skin xx

I can’t stand Chanel skincare because of the perfume in it and unfortunately this one contain fragrance. Hope they will make fragrance free skincare one day!

Hello Julie :) The only Chanel skincare product that is fragrance free is La solution 10. It's a very basic moisturizer and I wouldn't recommend it because the price is unjustified. xoxo

Hello Sherry :) I couldn't agree more! I thought it was a joke when I first was the price lol But anyways: that's why I wanted to analyze each ingredient so that people know what they get - just a good serum but there are so many good serums out there for less than $100.

Hello Prudence :) I agree. They acted weird with this cream lol but I'm sure there are people who might purchase. I guess they are aiming at a very small circle of people. They are selling a dream not a real skincare product lol. That's why I read some of the marketing materials "fermentation method inspired by the French way of making champagne ;)

Actually it’s priced for reason, like that old saying goes you get what you pay for plus it’s Chanel they can put any price on any product and people will still buy it because its Chanel

@@hildawhincup2621 There are great anti-ageing creams and serums even for less than $100. I just wanted to share this one because I had the chance to test it. 😊 Recently Chanel have increased the prices of their makeup line and they came out with this insanely priced serum. I wonder what should we expect next.

@@Frenchforaday I have not been wowed even by the spring and Le Blanc collections. Guessing covid has squashed the creativity of many. I would love to hear your recommendations on what good skin there is out there for under 100.00 dollars and I know that is USA dollars not Canadian.
