I've been wearing 1 Million Parfum for about 6 months now, and decided to buy the bottle after first sampling it. Although I've had samples of the original 1 Million, this one is so potent, masculine, and absolutely DEMANDING of attention. Longevity? Not even a question. I can assure you it goes well beyond 10hrs. It starts out really spicy for me, then becomes what I feel is a combo of vanilla, cinnamon, citrus, and jasmine. I've received a lot of attention from this fragrance, and this parfum is simply phenomenal! This parfum does go in an opposite direction, but it definitely has not brushed me in a bad way whatsoever! Great job, Paco Rabanne, and same for you, on the review!

how many sprays do u use? i have it and cant seem to smell it too much, idk if its because its hot outside or for another reason

@@guizaoa I use 8. 4 on under shirt, and 4 on over. Do keep in mind heat and humidity annihilate most fragrances. Fragrances like this at a parfum concentration should definitely last 8hrs bare minimal on a hot day. I personally never apply to my skin, as not only is mine very sensitive, but it's been proven they absolutely thrive on clothes. If you're wearing a white/light shirt, keep the sprays on your undershirt.

This fragrance is wonderful but has a little more youthful feel to it, thankfully I'm still young enough to pull it off. Sweet, florals and subtle leather. Lasted 8+hrs on me and projection was good for first 3hrs. Thanks again Steven for the great content!!

Nice review Steven. I think this fragrance is going to vary based on skin type and personal tastes. Yes, off a strip, this does come across like Invictus and Azzaro Wanted / Wanted By Night and you don't get a lot of the floral components embedded within. However, when this is applied to skin, you certainly get where the tuberose, monoi oil, and other aspects are present. My skin emphasizes and expresses florals in fragrances more than anything and I could tell off the first effervescence that this was a sweet tuberose bomb of a fragrance. But what got me was how this fragrance dries down and the layers that are shown when you really test it. To me, the tuberose plays a lot of different roles in this fragrance (sweet, salty, beachy) while still carrying an essential sweetness that shares a nod to the original 1 Million (which I can detect). This fragrance just conjures a lot of different perceptions and opinions, I suppose, but I love this fragrance a lot the more that I use it. Anyways, take care and be safe. Smelled this in June/July GQ magazine. I got so confused with all of the names because all of the bottles look the same except for Lucky. I just accidentally ordered Prive thinking it's One Million Perfume! Glad you said Prive is your fav. I still want One Million Perfume. I know you are not a beauty guru but these companies should provide discounted codes to support the Fragrance Community content creators.

I picked this one up today. I had to open it on the way home. I fell in love. It’s my first bottle of 1 Million line. It instantly took me back to my youth. It just brought back memories from when I went to visit my dads side of the family for the summer… should I buy the original? Im scared I might not like it cause I skipped to the Parfum.

Smelled the 1M line over the course of a few weeks at Macy’s. Confirmed that not only is 1M Parfum the best smelling, it’s a damn Parfum, that performs. Purchased online. Give this a shot if the OG 1million and Lucky weren’t for you. Reminds me of Invictus Legend combined with EA Stronger With You. And tbh that’s such a wild comparison I don’t think many would understand.

I have the standard One million, my goal is to get the other variants aswell. One Million always have been my favourite fragrance, even when i didn't had one all these years. I recently got one bottle for my birthday, and i'm really happy with it. My favourite color is Gold, and i really like the bottle aswell! Thankyou for the great video! Hi Steven I recently started using 1 Million again, the original (EDT) and I absolutely love it. However back a year ago I bought this one instead. I actually tested this one against the Elixir version, before buying it. I loved the smell of both the Parfum and the Elixir. But ended up getting the Parfum version. So I never really ever tried the Exlir version. Now the Royal version is out, I'm confused over which out of the Parfum, Elixir and Royal is the best other then the original. I'm not interested in the discontinued 1 Million flankers. I love the elegance of the Royal bottle. I prefer a 1 Million flanker that is more closer to the original 1 Million. I now know that this 1 Million Flanker is not really suited to someone in their 40s or 50s And it's not really designed for the beach like many others would say it is and to use in the Summertime. Thanks for that great advice.

This seems like the most polarizing scent. Nobody on RU-vid seems to agree about it. Gents scents: femenine summer fragrance. Fragrance apprentice: amazing scent for mature guys. Jeremy fragrance: overly Sweet version of the original without the grapefruit. My take: great clubbing fragrance for spring for Young guys that want to stand out.

I feel like my perception of this fragrance is very different than nearly every reviewer on RU-vid. I do smell a bit of pine in the opening; and can detect tuberose, for example.

The Original one Million from when it came out was the best. about 2 to 3 to 4 years after the release, they immediately watered it down and it hasn't been the same since.

Or maybe your nose just got used to it. It applies to anything in life, the more we experience something in particular, the less striking it will seem. Overeat burgers and you won't crave them as much, whilst others who rarely eat them will get more excited when the BBQ opportunity arises. Get an expensive pc and use it for a year , you'll get used to its performance that the initial "fast" impression will fade away and you'll still feel like you need to upgrade something on it if "more performance" is your thing, even though the current pc felt ultra fast at first because you weren't used to that kind of responsiveness. It really applies to everything.

@@costinvaly1 No, trust and believe, it was changed and for the worse. It has been significantly watered down, I know and remember. As a matter of fact a few months ago i bought a huge vintage bottle and that smells similar to the really old version I remember, the strength is pretty high, even still smells strong after you've closed the bottle like it is right now as I am writing this to you.

@@curtflirt2 well, if you have a vintage bottle as a reference and you compared it against the new one then you're definitely right with your statement. It's quite saddening that they have to lure people in during the launch year then watering it down later on for an increased return profits wise. I also had that feeling once when i've bought a bottle of Solo Lowe Cedro 100ml one year later from Germany (after i had a 50ml like 13 months beforehand). It smelled watered down and longevity was worse. That's why i'm kinda transitioning towards "Parfum" versions now especially from Tiziana Terenzi.

interesting, been checking this out on parfumo. I've had a 200ML 1 million for 8 years now, not a regular on my rotation but i still love it. Also been pondering on buy one of the flankers, it becomes harder when they are so many. Will need to try this when life goes back to normal

1 Million Prive is my go to designer fragrance in the fall and winter. It's actually the only frag that I own two backup bottles! I think that's saying something. I hated Wanted by Night, so it sounds like I'll be sticking with Prive, and skipping this one. Great review Steven!

So I just bought this last Saturday. It was actually a blind buy and haven’t heard of this before I bought it. The salesman in the store said it was a more concentrated version of the original. My sister disagreed. But it did smell good! So I bought it and started watching reviews from different channels and was actually kinda disappointed. But I said fk it i’ll wear it anyway. Then people around me started asking what perfume I’m wearing. I got compliments. And I was weirded out because that’s not what I heard from “other channels”. But it did garner compliments from people! So I experimented. I asked my sister to wear it too and she also got tons of compliments. It may not smell like the original. I’m glad it doesn’t. So you won’t end up smelling like everyone else!

I never trust the reviewers about compliments lmao. Their nose is too advanced compared to the general population. They always say niches are better blabla because designers are synthetics blabla. But trust me people around you will compliment you more with designers than niches

Dear steven please help me I have azzaro wanted by night should i still get 1 million privé ? Are they smiliar or any close from each other ??

This one is a miss for me. The orignal parfum of 1 Million 'Absolutely Gold' was so good in 2012. I have 2 bottles of it with one untouched and the other a third remaining. This new parfum doesnt really smell like the orignal paco rabanne 1 million edt. For me the best 1 Million is lucky > absolutely gold > prive > intense

I would say 1 Million Prive, Stronger With You Intensely, CH Men Prive, and Versace Eros Flame.

Artisan Aqua reminds me more of summer, but Invictus Aqua will get you more compliments.

Interesting note, the perfumer composed Wanted By Night, so it makes sense to me it has similarities to it.

Most fragrances have a shelf life of 24-36 months, but as long as fragrances are stored properly, they can last a lifetime. Just be sure to keep them away from direct exposure to sunlight, fluctuating temperatures, and extreme heat.

This one leans a little feminine to me. I've only worn it once so will need more wearings. I get a big suntan lotion vibe on the opening. Not completely convinced with this one. I have the others so needed this in my collection anyway :)

I was at Ulta Beauty after this came out and of course they didn't have a tester. I asked the sales associate for a tester and she said just smell the original 1 Million, it's the same, just stronger. Ugh!

Am I the only person who thinks this smells SPOT ON like bubblegum? I like swear I'm chewing bubblegum it's so pronounced with this! It's not a bad thing, I just wish I could smell the other notes that people seem to pick up because I legitimately can't smell ANYTHING except bubblegum.

I actually like the original 1 million and I abuse it in the colder days but got a sample of this one when I ordered Profondo last week. I thought I sprayed a women's perfume on my wrist... as you said: 'definitely' sweet as in 1 Quintillion sweet... = no thanks, Paco!
