Honestly the change makes me think that something to do with a really high cost skill from the anniversary units or it makes the anniversary team work properly/take advantage of it.
its also now possible bringing future gren hand soka on green teams. Before it was hard to use her skill and still orb change to a full green hand, but now its a lot easier
There's another aspect with Vengeance teams--it opens up characters that had 30 pt orb changes that really could be useful in some situations, like water Souei for tougher fights where you might need his defense skills. Or, as I've been doing lately, bringing a fused wind Lumi for her now any two orbs to green, along with a heal. I typically run Velzard with a heal charm just to deal with early turn damage prior to being able to cycle the orb changes along with the defensive skills. But If I can lean on Lumi to do that, I can just bring a protection gauge charm, and Velzard will cycle better (along with Lumi being able to deal with more inconvenient orb changing situations). Sure, I "lose" one skill per turn, but I can then fill that in with her heal or maybe an Izis green buff, which sometimes you felt loathe to do since you often had to give up a vengeance or seal skill with most hands needing two converts. I love it :)
This also makes Idol team run almost perfectly, cause now you can get enough skill points to do everything every turn even if you get too many ults and/or don't get enough protection gauge.
Okay dope, not gonna lie I wonder if the meant to do that with the Vengeance team.. that shit looking like it runs smooth as butter.. I’m also glad it gave us space to run juicer buffs on burst teams.. using off meta units will also be easier which is always a plus
Another thought.... I know you specifically left out the old 5*s, but I think I'll call out protectors like Towa and Ramiris who give 40pts per skill. This really ups their game. It used to be you only had 140 pts to work with, or 180 if you worked up a double protector. But now, that's 190 or 230. You can have more pts with a single skill than what a double used to give. And with a double, well, it opens them up for strats you couldn't think about earlier. I could even say that Towa might leads some "not so sorry" teams now. Maybe you could do a showcase on that.
